What TV programme would you most like to see a new series or edition being made and broadcast?
Shame it wouldn't be possible anyway, but I'd love to have had the benefit of a few more series of Father Ted. Looking forward to seeing the re-run of the special at Christmas.

Yeah some more Father Ted would be cool, apart from that tho I'd love to see the old Narnia programmes on telly again, I used to love them on a Sunday afternoon!! Specially The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe cos Narnia under the Queen was amazing looking (well it was when I was about 8 anyways) and I always wanted to go thru the wardrobe to build a snowman!!!

Another football series that was on Channel 4 in about 1986, I think it was Scully but I'm not sure!

Father Ted is the greatest programme of all time, I think part of it is the fact they only made about 24 of them - the last episode was a fitting final show I think.

I can't remember the name of it, but Danny Baker used to host a late night football show where he'd take cameras and a commentary team to a local park and commentate on the game. Pure genius !:D

I wish Skinner and baddeal would do some more fantasy football.
Also I wouldn't mind seeing some more Cracker with Robbie Coltrane

Obviously Bergerac.
Along with John Peel, Aphex Twin and one of my mates, John Nettles is easily the most shaggable man on the planet.

I thought Charlie Hungerford would have been more your bag Infidel! :D
A few more Benny Hill shows would be alright by me :biggrin2:

Charlie Hungerford is a fine looking man, no question about that; but John Nettles is a love-god.

I used to love the Young Ones and the Adventure Game.
Doubt many of you remember those programmes but failing that I would like to see Doctor Who come back.I was an avid fan during the Peter Davison era and even had my own Tardis!LOL.:D

Bergerac - used to be on Saturday evenings, watch Bergerac and then if i've been a good boy i could watch MOTD :D
Dr Who - what the f**k are BBC playing at? Get this back on TV for f**cks sake
Bottom - quality
Red Dwarf - i think they're making a new film  They need to make a new series with the original characters.

Just to beat Flyso to it :frog: Porridge was also an absolute classic and Open All Hours was great as well.

You rotten get!! You heard me talking about this 5 minutes ago!!
yes, Norman Stanley Fletcher is the best ever, followed by Steptoe, Reggie Perrin, Rising Damp, Father Ted, Bottom, Young Ones, Drop The Dead Donkey, the earlier Fools and Horses series and - Stateside (he says in his DJ voice) - Taxi.
Best sitcom of the current crop is Gimme Gimme Gimme - Kathy Burke's a comic genius!!

Yeah, but only beat you to Porridge!!
I'll let you take the lead where Bottom is concerned, not my bag baby!! :biggrin2:

Hmmm - definitely Father Ted - the programme is an absolute classic. Not so sure bout Men Behaving Badly - it was very funny at the time but think it's run it' course now. I miss Red Dwarf - that's abrilliant programme but they ruined when they got rid of Rimmer and brought back Kochanski. More of the earlier episodes please! And I'd love to see more Fantasy Football on TV - absolutely brilliant!

In a way it's good that they'll not be able to make any more Father Ted, cos it can't go down hill or run out of ideas. Jossy's Giants was good at the time but I'd be apprehensive about seeing it now.
How about a live action version of Willy Fogg? Or even Trumpton.:bounce:

I agree SW....looking at the re-runs it was really only the Martin Clunes Show cos I've p1ssed more talent up the wall than the other three put together. Homebase my @rse!

I just watched the first ever episode of Coldfeet on video, That was so funny. Did anybody else see that the other night? Some of the characters looked at least 10 years younger. What year was that filmed? I reckon about 8 years ago but the wife says the program has only been coming on for about 4 years. I didn't watch the program up untill last year but now I'm an addict,I just hope they make another series. I read in the paper the other day that if another series is made Adam will die of cancer. Well I hope they don't finnish the whole thing off like that coz after all it is meant to be a comedy drama, and I can,t imagine watching someone die of cancer will be all that funny
