But wy is it to get back at Maria? She never did anything wrong. Altho I don't see what Maria saw in Tyrone in the first place when she could have had Todd or Jason (whichever the older one is) coz he's waaaaaaaaay fitter.

This is the moment when Coronation Street's Les and Dennis are involved in a car crash with a drink-driver, spelling heartache for Janice.

Viewers can see drama unfold during three episodes broadcast over New Year.

The action begins when Les, still devastated by his wife Janice walking out on him for his best friend Dennis, tries to kill himself inside his taxi.

But as exhaust fumes pour into the car, his rambling final words are heard over his radio back in Coronation Street and Dennis sets off across town to find him.

Discovering him still alive, Dennis jumps in the driver's seat and sets off to the hospital in a bid to save the life of his love rival.

Moments later tragedy strikes when a drink-driver slams into the pair, leaving Dennis with fatal injuries.

As the drama unfolds, back in the Rover's Return the regulars celebrate the New Year, unaware of Dennis' death.

In one scene, Dennis manages to tell Janice he loves her before he dies.

There, now none of you have an excuse to watch it over Christmas.

For a while there was nothing on TV to beat The Street and I'm still a big fan but Jaysus, it's poor now...predictable storylines, WOEFUL actors (I mean, pick the worst from Les (ham), Ashley (helium-voiced twat), Dev (overacting), Tyrone (erm...), Sam (himbo) Dougie, Alan Brazil - sorry, Fiz, Terry ****ing Duckworth, Martin Platt - need I go on?) - it actually makes the other soaps look good at the moment. Even the characters are thin on the ground - you've got Fred, Mike Baldwin and the Duckworths and that's it. the series needs a sharp dose of talent before it degenerates into a show that everyone remembers USED to be good! :mad:

I totally agree! I've watched Corrie forever, mainly coz my mum and dad have, and I don't really watch any other soaps but it's bad now. And I hate Noris. Worst actor in it has got to be Sam. Altho I can never work out whether he would win the worst actor award or most boring person award - or maybe both. Les isn't all too bad - like when he was crying after Janice had left him - I didnt really care coz I dont like either of the characters, but I did get a lump in me throat!

And Terry Duckworth is awful - I mean he re appears every 6 ,months or so, does something awful, acts really badly, and leaves again. Tell u who we should expect back some time soon is Our Tracy, coz she's not made a reappearance recently.

I'll tell u wot tho, if it doesnt get any better soon I'm gona stop watching it coz the spawn of Satan is making a comewback in January - the worst of them all - JULIE ****IN GOODYEAR! :mad:
