When you're at the top of the road walking towards the hole in the wall cash machine it's empty, then when you get there, you're standing behind 6 people in the queue for it. Everytime, why is that? Or is it just me?

Not sure actually - probably because everyone thinks the same (o look no one for the queue) and jumps right in.
Here's another one - do you ALWAYS seem to end up in the 'wrong queue' at McDonalds? i.e. it might only have 3 people and the other queues have 5 to 10...but yours seems to take the longest. Also, why is the above also true, especially when there's an old Chinese lady in your queue? (As a rule, I now avoid short or long queues anywhere in Hong Kong where there are more than ZERO old Chinese ladies present).

When you see it empty - run for it.. run like it's the last time you will. People will stop in their tracks and start looking at you thinking wtf's with him? but you being the smarter one will get the first place in the queue.
Why is it that no one believes the offical spokesman but everyone believes an unnamed source???

Why is it that no one believes the offical spokesman but everyone believes an unnamed source???
Could it be because with the spokesman people instantly think that they an agenda and distrust them due to it. While with an unamed source they never get to see what a freak they normally are (or even consider the fact that there is no unnamed source and its just been used a way to beat libel laws etc) and as a result are more willing to accept their viewpoint.
