Who pays it though?

How can anyone justify spending £75 on a t-shirt?

I once spent £19 getting a KMFDM t-shirt imported, but £75 is unbelievable.

No-one, not even Bill Gates or the Sultan of Bru****innai can justify paying £75 for a t-shirt, it's obscene.

do yourself a favour then and stay away from brands like quicksilver, rusty, billabong and o'neill (all surf companies but make nice clothes) Go to america and get their t-shirts for about $35(about £20) at the most and expect to pay about £80 over here for the equivalent! that's damn unfair and annoying.

snakedavetheblade

Im not into all that surfer/boarder stuff me so i keep away from it anyways!!
yeah i know wen i went to yankly land i got t shirts for like half the price they'd b over ere, daft that really why do we ave to pay so much!!!

My entire warbrobe of ****ing clothes cost about £130 man!

What's the most anyone has shelled out for a t-shirt? I wanna die knowing I've spoken to someone who can spend over 50 quid on a t-shirt...

The last t-shirt I bought was £40. I have around Eight jumpers in current circulation, the cheapest was £65 and most expensive £170. A friend of mine payed £345 quid for a **** SI coat last week.

£345 for coat?

Could someone explain to me the attaction of t-shirt that costs over £50? Is it really about 400% better than the common o'garden variety?

The £345 coat was a bit over the top, plus it was toss. People pay over £50 for a t-shirt because of the name.

Ive got a few Hackett polo's none of which ive paid over £50 for. What do you find wrong with the quality 3rd jan/casual i find them ideal except for the expected fade after a while of use ? I also got a burberry one last year (not the fully checked one the blue with checke collar) and id say the hackett ones just edge them on quality for their thickness although the burb one is smarter.

Totally agree with Infidel here - anyone spending that on a T shirt has more money than sense. You can get decent sporty type ones in a factory retail outlet 2 for a fiver!!!

And as for Hackett, never heard of it. Designer labels - big deal.

I just think there are other makes that are better for the money you pay. (eg Fred Perry,Gant).
