Jut been watching this update thing on TV out this couple who adopted a little boy from Romania and a little girl from China. Watching it with my mum and dad so go tsome insight coz theyre both social workers in family placement. Anyway, this couple were complaining to the family placement person who went to see them bout this Chinese Gir they wanted to adopt coz the process to makesure people are suitable adoptive parents takes 6 months, which is OK usually. But think of all these little girls being kiled in China. id anyone see that pic a coupla weeks ago of a little girl just thrown in the gutter coz if they're only allowedone child they want sons? t's ****in despicable - and the governmaent have just tightened up the adoption laws on Chinese Adoptions. It's a full on p1ss take.

I did a case study in that sorta thing in geography once.
It really is despicable the way the world works sometimes - kinda sick that they're not happy with what they get! Worse that the government forces ordinary bog-standard people to do that sorta thing (i.e. tax ppl with more than one kid loads more and give handouts to those with 1 son etc...).
