I didn't know him personally but he was known to a few of my mates,he was in Gourock high which alot of my mates are.

He was apparently over at his mates for dinner when the nextdoor neighbour caused an argument.He was basically just very unlucky.One of his best friends is in a critical condition in hospital.His dad,the owner of the house and another friend were walking wounded.

The only relief for his family is that the QE2 is visitng Greenock today so the whole thing is quite quiet which gives his fanily a bit of settle.

God forbid that the Government don't step in soon and get tough on offenders using knives and various other weapons. Treat a knife being carried the same way as you do a gun. This poor kid, like so many other teenagers didn't deserve to die, yet murders of young ones nowadays is increasing daily.

Its terrible, how can people live by doing this. Just think how many lifes were ruined because of this incident! The Boy that died and all his family and relatives. Numerous times i have had knifes pulled out on me for standing at a bus stop for "not being from that area"

I have twin brothers at 14 years old, and if it happened to anyone of those, i dont know what i would do!
