Hi Guys,

I downloaded a Champioship Manager update the other day, and wrote the file onto CD, to take home with me and put on my computer.

So in work, I test to see that it's gone onto the CD properly, and it has, but when I get home and try to open up the file from the CD, it says it "can't create an output" to open the file.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

try copying the update from the Cd onto your C: drive, and running it, methinks its trying to extract files onto your CD.

Sounds about right, could be trying to unzip files to your cd drive. Copy and paste the whole lot into a new directory on your hard drive as the man says.

What on the hard drive would be classed as a 'Directory'?

Excuse my ingnorance, I thick when it comes to things like this.

Copy the whole lot into a new directory on your hard drive

Could you put that a bit simpler!

by directory I mean a new folder, create a new folder on your c drive, copy the cd contents into that new folder.

I don't think he has! It would be like this:

My Mum: Oh Baby

Seagull: Baby... LOL

My Mum: Shut up and get on with it!

Seagull: Up... LOL

My Mum: Look you're really putting me off!

Seagull: Off... LOL

*Slap*

I think possibly he needs a shag though. Desperately.
