I've just changed Internet providers from AOL (which I thought was crap) to NTL Instant Dial Up Internet. Does anybody know if this is any good?

I'm with AOL, and can stay connected for 6 maybe 7 hours without getting disconnected. I'm quite happy with AOL.
I thought NTL were having huge financial problems, and were stopping new signups??? That was from a couple of months back when I heard that, dunno if the situation has changed or not....don't think it has.
What is better on the broadband connections, Blueyonda or BT Openworld? I'm going to get ADSL soon, but wasn't sure which would be the better to have.

its £10 a month. if you go to www.ntlhome.com you should be able to order a start up disk from there.

My mate has NTL and the only snag is that he gets cut of after 2 hours but as for that he has had no other problems. I heard AOL was pretty crap of a mate. I'd recommend Blueyonder (Cable) Internet if your after broadband.

It's £25 a month if you already have a product from Telewest Broadband i.e. phone connection or cable tv. If you don't I think it's £33 a month. Go to the site www.blueyonder.co.uk and have a look to see if they do it in your area first. There should be details on there about it, if not then PM me with the details you are after.
