I made a post on the 12th of October with regards to stepping down after 24 hours.
Now I shall tell you why.
On October the 9th I was asked to become a moderator and on October the 10th I accepted, however at 8.45am on Thursday the 11th October I received a phone call to tell me that my sister had lost her battle with cancer. That was upsetting and caused me a great deal of stress.
I explained my position to the admin amd moderators of FF and asked them not to say anything, as it was then a private matter. I received condolences from Silverfox and all of the moderators and Roberto, Canary Fairy and Michelle(X Baby) PM'D to say that they were sorry I stepped down. I told them why.
Today I went to the funeral of my dearly beloved sister, whose 17 year old daughter has now no family of her own.
So maybe people can understand now that I was not seeking attention and I am not now, just making it clear why I could not commit myself to FF when my mind was in turmoil.

P.S. although it's not of my business, the 17 year old, will you be looking after her for now? or other family?

Thanks for asking Carl. I come from a big family and she would never be short of somewhere to live and settle down, but Sarah will go and live with one of my other sisters until she feels she is ready to go back to the home she shared with her mum.
My sister is in a location much closer to her college than I am.
Cheers Carl
