Yea..perhaps I'm no use to you then. I left England before I could enter pubs legally. Sorry. :(

The ones that say "Wetherspoons" above the door is a good start! Otherwise Goose chain pubs or members bars/clubs are a decent bet. Compared to Burnley prices though, you will struggle. Mate is a legion member which comes in useful. Im a Watford boy, so wiser as to North London as a rule so individual bars would be a waste of time, by the time you got a cab...

Yep,Id agree with that. The Liberty Bounds opposite the Tower of London is a nice pub and the food is good too :thumb

Cheap pubs? The ones around university campuses are a hell of a lot cheaper than most places. Try the pubs around the UCL campus in Bloomsbury for pretty cheap drinks.
My particular favourite is the one on Torrington road, near Goodge St Station.

I don't go to cheap Pubs because i'm not a Gypo. My usual haunts are The Lords Tavern in St: Johns Wood (my local), W9 in Maida Vale & The Chippenham. They average around £3.70p a pint.
