David Beckham last night joked he trusted best-mate Gary Neville so much he would happily leave him in a room with a naked Posh.

He made his quip about the ex-Manchester United team-mate, who was his best man, during a thank you speech after winning a gong at the Football Writers' Association awards in London.

Becks, 31, was honoured for his achievements in the game. Earlier Victoria made sure she was the centre of attention by wearing a high-visibility luminous frock.

But Posh, 33, looked less than chuffed as she and David left a Mayfair restaurant.
