Watch out for a sprint to the line only to cock it up again.......

Saturday was a blow to our chances but we are far from out of it. Loughgall dropped points again so they are not unbeatable. Hopefully three points tonight to get us back in the hunt.

Did you go to the game? Was the pitch in any better nick?

Pitch looked well Mr K after those Ards gypsies ruined it. We won 2-1 last night although Marty Verner could be out for 8 weeks :(
Are yous training there on Saturday? Bangor have an early kick off this week, 1.30!

Well who is going to win this league ?
It seems very close with some teams having games in hand.

Loughgall are choking big time after 8 wins in 8 league games. We have to just keep going. Next league game is away to Ballyclare which will be a big test, we have drew with them at home in the league and lost the steel and sons semi final at seaview against them. . Still 4 or 5 teams in with a shout, going to be an exciting finish to the season no doubt.

Eddie Patterson Cliftonville managers son playes for Ballyclare.
We played them in pre season and they seem decent enough.

We have signed Darren fitzgerald from Ballymena til the end of the season. Also signed a defender and midfielder to help the push for the title.
Can you settle an argument for me, Seagulls BFC??
I must ask a question of you---when you lot achieved the second place in the Irish league to win a place in Europe, who bossed your Club??
I say it was John Flanaghan. A friend and colleague within my workplace states it was Nigel Best.
Who is right??

They did win the Irish cup and get into europe,1993 they beat
Ards, Paul byrne getting the winner :bananadance
Finished second in the early 90s as well Best i think also.

You are probably right.
I always thought that Flanaghan was the man in charge, as i seem to recall Bangor defeating us 1-0, at the Oval, to qualify for Europe in a league game.
I've lost the bet.

NIGEL BEST
NIGEL BEST
Fair enough.
I do remember the IC final (i think it went to a couple of replays) were you defeated Ards 1-0, and i'm pretty sure that Best was the man at the helm then.
But i do remember that you finished runners-up one season, we were competing with you for that position, and i had thought that Flanaghan was boss then, i was under the impression that Best stepped into Flanaghan's shoes after the latter resigned due to work commitments.
But i was wrong.
Thank you for clearing that up.
