I'm looking forward to it myself...should be able to get a crowd of almost 20,000 for it. Hopefully there'll be a good few scottish visitors like at the legends game last year.

A few questions regarding this match:

1) Which team will the Linfield fans be supporting?
2) Will they boo Amorouso because of his religion?
3) will both sets of "fans" take part in an Orange march down the Shankill before the game?

1)I support both team's and it will alway's be Linfield that I will support when these two meet.

2)Why would we boo Amorouso?
Ask any blue man who their favorite player has been in the last ten year's and Im sure at least half will give the answer Dessie Gorman.
The very thought of Linfield being a secterian team is a made-up concept by those with a chip on their shoulder's and the mis-informed media(though later tend to be the former as well)

Monty you're a fool and you should sort the chip's on you're shoulder's.

1) Linfield! I don't support Rangers, the Scotish league is a pile of p@ss!
2) I don't like Christians but i won't boo him, i might boo him for being a big Italian nonce!
3) Doubt it, but i'm sure that would be fun......good idea!

Well Monty you are obviously dillusional, my advice........suicide!

Monty, take your bigoted rhetoric elsewhere, its not welcome in a football forum.

1) We will be supporting Linfield that is why we are called "Linfield fans". What the **** sort of a question is that? Are you a ****en remedial? Well are you?
2) Why would we do that. Most of the Rangers team are Catholics...many of Linfield's best players in the past ten years have been catholics. Believe it or not i don't care about religion...i'm obviously not a bigotted **** like yourself then!!
3) I think thats very doubtful as marching season will be over at that stage. Still if you're so keen about having one then why don't you organise it.

You seem bitter monty. Its probably because we're not extreme enough for you as someone who wants to see players booed because of religion and wants to organise additional orange parades.

1) Most people who go to Linfield matches will support the Blues of Belfast. A lot of people who support Linfield don't even like Rangers.

2) Why would we boo a catholic player, we have 2 playing week in week out(unless there is injuries)

3) It would be a great day if there was a big march of Linfield and Rangers fans on the Shankill RD but we might get attacked by the millions of arsehole people called MONTY.

Why, then, do the NI fans at international matches ( a great number of whom MUST be Linfield fans) boo Neil Lennon every time he touches the ball? Why do Linfield never play Celtic in a pre-season friendly?

I was at the international that Lennon first got booed at,I did'nt boo him and actually asked a couple of @rse's behind me to get of his back and support the whole team.
I took I fair bit of abuse from these @rse's and it nearly came to blow's but for a large number of supporter's backing me up (they where mostly blue men.For the record the @rse's where from mid-Ulster.:chainsaw:

Rangers protestant team got a few catholics in the side.
Celtic people say its a Catholic side but im not to sure i would say it's a 50% Protestant 50% Catholic.

Maybe it could spark a riot bringing nationalists into Windsor park maybe thats why they dont invite celtic are it could be that linfield board are sectarian.

Monty, you are a bit of a goat, aren't you? While not wanting in any way to make it look as though I'm kissing blue @rses, I hope both sets of supporters have a great day with the Belfast Scum doing well against the fruits that currently pull on Rangers jerseys and disgrace themselves week in week out.

I would personally like to see the Glens playing Celtic in Glasgow for a pre season friendly, we had a great time at Ibrox the year before last and I wou;dn't mind comparing the teams.

Best team in Glasgow v Best team in Belfast! I'd go for that.

Well buy a ticket to the Linfield vs Rangers match then.

The Irish cup winners vs the Scottish cup winners.

I bet Rangers win the league next year, McCleish is the right man for that job, he hasn't been beaten by the Bhoys since he went there and he hasn't been beaten domesticly either.

I think its impossible to tell how many bluemen were booing Lennon so we wouldn't want to me making wild allegations would we?

I think its pretty obvious why we wouldn't play celtic. I mean theres no point arranging a friendly which would most likely cause civil unrest just for the fun of it!!

This should be in the Scottish Forum really...but Ranger's really are a pile of pish. Celtic are better, but only slightly. They'd be down in no time if they were in the English Premiership!

Monty...at least get your facts right. While the booing (by the minority) at Whinger Park was nothing short of disgraceful it only happened on the one occasion (well on a grand scale - he still gets abuse from the small-minded idiots I'm sure). In the next NI game Lennon was cheered throughout.

Gunman. For the good of this board...**** off. Please.

Gunman - you are continuing to stir up trouble here despite numerous other warnings.

It would appear that this has gone straight through that wee skull of yours and your membership of this site will be ended.
