What team has the best strip in the Irish league?
Being totally unbiased I would have to go for the current Glens home strip. :D
And what is the worst one in your view?

I love Portadowns Navy away kit but i cant seem to get one. Other than that i think that the Glens Black away strip is very nice.

Glens black away strip for me too. I like the Stute away jersey too, eluminous yellow (only thing is it reminds me too much of the one Celtic had/has?)

Seriously, our away strip is really cool. Even my 'Ballymena are crap' friends admit it's a really nice top, and that's saying something!!

Although I'm not sure as to who has the nicest kit in the league, I was just wondering if you think that many teams next season will follow Distillery's lead and put their players names on the back of kits? Whose in favour and who is against? I know I like the way they are on the back of our kits as it means i don't blame the wrong player when he makes a howler !!

Coming from a blueman it's hard to admit but I like the Glentoran Home kit I think it looks good. Don't think the away one looks as good though..

Crusaders have the ultimate shirt in my opinion!

I like the idea with names on the back of shirts, it makes the game more professional, but, what if a player gets suspended or injured, they're gonna have to wear their shirt, and have a different name for 90 minutes, or else they go into the english style and make the players have their own shirts after the number 11. Portadown's away top is nice and so is Glentoran's away.

The Glens home shirt i think or the Linfield away shirt!

best kit in my opinion is glentoran's black kit, worst has to be bangor's away kit from last season.
i thought distillery had been told they had to wait until the start of next season to put names on their shirts, so that everyone else could do it?

Work it out mate, by putting the names on the backs of the shirts, each player is also assigned a number in the squad. Yes, that's right, they don't actually print new shirts for every game depending on what position a player is playing in!

The Linfield home one is of poor quality (the material), lasts years kit was far better

Don't think fair on the smaller clubs, like Stute to have names on back of shirts. If you have 32 of a squad like we did this year. Then 32 x 2 (home & away) is 64 jerseys that can only be worn by one player. Compared to 15 home and 15 away jerseys only totally 30 jerseys that can be worn by any player, never mind all the cost of names being put on them. I know at Stute the first team kit will be worn by the reserves next year. This can't happen if names were on the back of jerseys. Stute have looked at the cost of this exercise and they believe it would cost almost £2,000 a year. It does look good but I think money could be spent better within the club ie ground development, players

Glenavon's tops are the best IMHO. Only thing decent at the club..
Worst has to be Linfield's grey effort.

Newry's yellow away one looks good but the material is sh*te. I'm wearing it at the moment and there's about 100 different tears in it.

In response to Scuds comments that Distillery had been told by the league to put off until next season not to wear the shirts with the names on the back, truth is they were requested by the league not to wear them but this was only after the club had originally told the league of their plans, had got no response (typical Irish league heirarchy) and so went ahead and produced them all. So we politely told the league, "Sorry, we've bought them and we are gonna wear them" and wear them we do. And yes I agree it does add a lot of professionalism to the appaearance of the local game which can only be for the good of the sport. Mind you is is interesting seeing a number 21 come on as a sub !! Now you know how i pick my lottery numbers lol !!

I would have to say our away kit is very nice, i also like the Glens home top. I was watching the FAI Cup Final on Sunday, i thought the Dundalk kit wasn't bad either.

The Newry jersey is made by era also. They've made the Newry and the Derry top the same design and they're made with the same material. It's total sh*te! It looks nice but once you have it for a couple of weeks it tears to pieces.
