I don't have a boat but I would love one. I took a boat out on the Norfolk Broads yesterday just for the day but would love to have a boat and do it more often http://th244.photobucket.com/albums/gg32/bbblankenmyer/Smilies/Riding%20Smilies/th_boat.gif

I'd like one of these (yes I know it's a ship not a boat).
5 housepoints and 2 cans of cheap lager for anyone who knows what ship it is though.

Yamamoto:hmmm

Not the Yamato (Yamamoto was an Admiral), it's a battlecruiser not a battleship.

It's from WWII though and it's from one of our then enemies.

It's quite well known too.

I would say HMS Hood, but you say it's from an enemy?

No it's not Hood though Hood was also a battlecruiser in fact I may start a thread on it.
It's a German ship and that's the last clue!

Scharnhorst

Is correct, the lager is on it's way !

Pictured in a painting by Simon Atack depicting the famous "Channel dash" escorted by the FW 190's of JG 26 in 1942 when Scharnhorst and Gneisenau steamed up the channel under the noses of the RAF and Royal Navy and got away with it.

I grew up around sailing boats as a kid, but these days i have a motor boat out here in Canada. Nothing fancy but its great for serious fishing or some pleasure boating, tubing or waterskiing with the family. We are surrounded by lakes out here and use it most weekends through the summer and usually on an extended vacation of a couple of weeks up North somewhere.

Mines similar to the one in the photo, but with a few extra accessories and a four stroke Yamaha on the back instead of the Merc.
