Okay, i've been in Salou this past week or so which means i've missed the big kick-off. But by all accounts from what i've either been told or read about our performances to date they have been far from satisfactory, well below par and not what Glentoran fans expect from a Glentoran team. Never the less it is still early days yet and if ever this team has been given the chance to redeem itself then surely that opportunity must be snapped up this coming Saturday.

We must learn quickly to get back to our winning ways or our chances of lifting the title this season shall be indeed bleak. But i am quietly confident that we can secure maximum points this Saturday, although, as per usual, Cliftonville will provide us with a very sturdy challenge.

Right enough of the small talk and roll on Saturday. Let battle commence.

Here's our prediction:

Happydaze: Glentoran 5-3 Cliftonville. (Outrageous i know, but i'm gonna stick with it!)

Miss Happydaze JNR: Glentoran 1-0 Cliftonville. (She won't be at the game this week as her dad plans on getting drunk before the game and even more drunker after it)
C'mon ye Glens!

Fair play to the Glens today, can't say the better team won but the team tht wanted it more did.
Losing to 10 men :coat :ashamed

True
Glens wanted it more.
Them missed chances we had cost us today.
Can't understand why Fra keeps heading towards centre midfield when he is a winger. He done this umteem times today.

The miserable sod flucked a winner in the first race, (although the winnings was put in our pot)

But you would have thought in won the lotto the way he was dancing about and getting all excited like a big kid.

Wanted to stop betting cause he "was up"

It was only our first race ffs.

Aye but seeing that i contributed the most to the pot with the exception of that 5-3 reverse back in the sixth race, it was an excellent night the look on Red Boys face lol he didnt even win a packet of peanuts, and at the start of the night i thought i was at the horse races ffs.

Was it a good match on Saturday?:hmmm I'm not trying to be funny, i was present but i remember very little about it. I was absolutely whitewashed, completely blitzed. I vaguely recall talking to Flag-man in the Glentoran social (I actually met this lad before in a previous away trip at Solitude) but apart from that the mind is blank except for the odd horror flashback.:slap:
