Reading todays Sunday Life yesterdays performance seems to have been pretty decent. A 3-0 victory away from home against the Whites is always classed as a very good result, no matter what team you follow. I was not able to attend yesterdays game due to work commitments.

The added bonus is that we are now perched, once again, at the top of the table. Interesting to see if we can maintain it this time.

Alan McDonald is quoted as saying in todays Suday Life:

" I thought it was a good solid performance. It was a tough day for both sets of players out there, the wind was gusting and swirling and our defenders dealth with it. Overall we are pleased. It is a tough place to come and we got the three points".

Indeed. And hopefully we can collect another three next week when Crusaders come to visit us at the Oval.

If we do you a favour tomorrow night and Glens win,it will be a mighty boost to the Glens players.
Don't let it slip this time again.

Yes, very true Red1. I also think that you are more than capable of putting Linfield to the sword. The one thing that i must point out though is that i still feel that we are far from a finished article. I would love to be able to say to you that i feel confident that we would not let it slip again, but unfortunately i can't. As you rightly point out though, this would indeed be a major boost for the Glentoran players. If this result does go our way then, hopefully with a little bit of lady luck on our side, this run-in might-just might-swing a little in our favour.

I will not count my chickens though, and it will be up to the team to take advantage.
