The award-winning Play UK, my favourite satellite channel EVER, has disappeared from the TV listings! Obviously it has ceased transmission some time over the last weekend, but does anyone know why??:confused: :(

It has been closed due to the collapse of ITV Digital apparently. Look at this

Its been off for about 2 weeks now. Was quite a good channel as well.

It was one of my favourite channels too.
I still dont understand why it has closed, when they have kept UK Style, Drama and Horizons. All of which arent that good.

Why do those channels even exist James? Are they just to fill the gaps on the way to the next decent channel?

In that case Mrs Flyso is a sad individual because she adores UK Style and Discovery Home and Leisure.:yawn: :yawn:
But to get back to the point.....RIP Play UK; I thought it was actually funded by the BBC but obviously I was wrong. Still, UK Gold are now showing most of the good stuff that was on Play (Fast Show etc.) so that softens the blow a little.:)

Roadies on Horizons was good but it is home to Tattoo You probably the worst programme ever to be made.
