Loads of people say loads of things bout people going out with other people with a big age gape. Do u think its wrong. Should a 21 year old be alowed to go out with some1 who is 16.
Should a 17 year oldgo out with a 14 year old.
People say theres no point or there a diff rules. I have loads of mates going out with Girls much younger then them and they have not tuched them and people still say its wrong.
What do u think.

No chance - altho me n my partner (or to be ex partner) are the same age i like this bird at work who's 18, 5 years younger than me and do i care? Do I ****!!!
My bets mate who's 22 is seeing a 37 year old.
It simply does not matter.

Definitely not, but there is some times its taking the piss, for example going with someone whos 16, maybe 17 and your like 4/5 years older, i wouldnt be up for that, depends on maturity i suppose. I did go out with an 18 year old when i was 24, so i cant say age is a problem, scary at first, but when ya think about it properly, it doesnt matter much.

Nope it does not matter (within reason), but it works in the other way for blokes too ;) Nothing like an experienced lady:Banana:

When I was 19 I lived with a 28 year for over two years...that was fun...till she went back to see her soon to be ex husband to discuss the divorce and got preggers...

Madame is currently 3 years younger than me...I shall let you all do your own sums on that one..

But if some nubile 18 year old was looking for a father figure I may just may consider a ménage a trois..

I remember this guy where I used to live was about 30 and used to go out with 17/18 yr olds. When I was in my early 20s I found that a bit hectic, now I'm 31 I say bring em on!!! :sex:

Seriously tho, it depends on the situation, like when my daughter gets older, if she's say 13/14 and brings home a fella who's 16, I'll knock him out.

I don't think age matters that much at all once you get past a certain age. Obviously when you're bout 14 it matters, but having said that I was going out with someone 6 years older than me when I was 15.

One of my best mates has just got out of a year long relationship with a 25 year old lad, and I'm still really really good mates with him, even though he's quite a bit older than me.

I hada bit of a thing with a chef from work last year and he's 27 and the ald I'm after atm is 3 years older than me. I don't think age matters that much at all but there obviously has to be limits. A girl I went to school with is now going out with a 34 year old, and I don't think that's right really.

I know so many girls in my sixth form who are going out with 30-35 year old men. Why the competition?:angryfire

Going out with people old enough to be your parents when you're a teenager isn't right. As you grow older though, it becomes difficult to guess ages.

Best thing to do is to leave all the 16-18 year old girls to me:D ;)

A friend of mine is currently (and foolishly I think) seeing a married 44(ish) year old, and they've been seeing each other for almost 2 years now...

They seem pretty happy (even if his wife has just found out the FULL story recently, tho he's not been kicked out yet...!!) so I spose its not that bad.

He's still older than her mum tho... (oh btw she's 21).

I voted no, it doesnt matter as long as the two people are happy, but i think in extreme cases it is just wrong, that the older person is taking advantage of the younger person, like someone at work told me the other day that this guy i work with who is 25, his ex was 14, i personally think that is wrong, i have gone out with a girl who was 15 whilst i was 18 and a chick who was 22 when i was 18 so it doesnt bother me much.

I think that in terms of where you are in your life, age does matter to a certain extent--I can't imagine dating a 22-year-old who is still in the throes of his party-boy phase, nor could I imagine dating some middle-aged geek who just wanted to sit around watch 'Law & Order' reruns every night.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter THAT much, 'cause men are all b@stards anyway! ;)

Age only matters if you want to drive a car or have a pint legally.
Goonerchick,
are you a librarian by any chance?:)

Good idea Daz. You know how the young boys are nowadays, always want a "good" time :sex: But, I'm afraid you'll scare all the other lads away, and your daughter will have a reputation of having a father who knocks out anyone who goes out with her. But whatever is good for your child, then do the right thing.

I went out with a girl aged 23 when i was 13 we had sex and evrything but i don't think it's wrong

 How long did that relationship last Ricardo and what was wrong with the kiddy-fidler?

I say yes. I know a guy that's 27 and he's seeing a 16 year old. It makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere whenever they're in company as people aren't sure how to act.

I heard of a Burnley fan who is 40 and is going out with this girl of 20. You would think nothing bad of it but it is his daughter.

The funny thing is, she is cheating on him with a bloke of 60 who believe it or not is her grandad (his dad).

 :D

It's very very wrong. I know a girl who is 17 and going out with a 25 year old and when he comes out with us we basically ignore him. She gets some slagging for her "old chap" as well.

He gets stick for going out with someone of 17?? She's not 12 for **** sake. That age differential is nothing really.

You have to wonder what's wrong with someone if they are 25 and have to go looking for a schoolgirl to go out with them like.
