Remember when you were a kid, and your parents or your kintergarden teacher would ask you what you want to be when you grow up. I believe some of the most popular answers would be to become a policeman, a doctor or a fireman. I myself wanted to be a lawyer. Big bucks and the glory of being able to help the innocents. Needless to say, I failed miserably. Now working as a management consultant.

I wonder how many of you are fullfilling your childhood aspiration now?

I wanted to be a footie player, so I am very envious of my mate who plays, at the age of 15 for Liverpool under 19's! and England schoolboys, basted .

I wanted to be a Postman because your day finished earlier and there was no one ordering you around.

When I was really little I wanted to be a nurse, when I got older I wanted to be a vet, when I got older still I wanted to be a mechanic for McClaren Formula 1, and now I'm old I just want to be young!

And got chased around by crazy dogs?

The only reason I could think of anyone wanting to be a postman is that you might get to see half-naked women answering the doors...:smokin:

I thought you didn't want a poisoned chalice? :p

Very embarassing story: I wanted to be a Solicitor when I was about 13 and wrote to the Law Society asking them to send me "more information on Soliciting" :dunce: Ahh the innocence of youth! I'm glad me Mum read it before I sent it otherwise I'm sure I would be inundated with offers from dirty old Judges...
