Stella and Vodka

Met a few heads in the pub after work last night for a 'quick' drink, few pints of Stella then back home for a few home measures of vod.... alarm goes of at 7 and i'm ****ed. Why does vod make you so ill?????:sick:

Jack Daniels whiskey and coke is really nice. Vodka's lethal stuff, although nowadays it doesn't get me half as bad as it used to!
Had 4 double vodka and coke's on Saturday night and 5 pints of stella and was in The Void in Stoke until half 4! Bloody killer hangover next day though!

I don't particularily like vodka. It does give bad hangovers. I usually use it as the base alcohaol in cocktails, not much taste and gives a kick to the drink.

Yeah same here. I only ever drink straigght vodka if I want ot got really pissed, I don't like the taste of it on it's own. I usually have it with coke or something else. Mixing vodka with stella though is a killer, get's you pissed and you have a great time but the hangover is the worst ever. Feels like someone constantly basing you in the head with a baseball bat!

Never been a vodka drinker. To be honest, I'm not sure that I've ever tasted it. Could be wrong though.

I remember I did walk into a bar with me sister once and she's was getting the beers in and I asked her for a Malibu & Pineapple. To which she replied that that was a school girl's drink!! What was I thinking?

My favourite tipple is Dark Rum & Lemonade. Pisses me off cos EVERY TIME I order it the mate getting them in or the barman/lady ALWAYS get it wrong and get me a rum and coke. ALWAYS. No matter how often you tell them...

Never been a whiskey person and never had the inclination to drink spirits neat. I don't like Rum neat only with lemonade and if needs be (see above) with coke. Though preferably not.

A lot depends on the quality of the vodka....Chilled Smirnoff Black goes down no probs....and although I can't drink stella as it makes me chuck I normally replace it with Kronie 1664...

Don't get to many hangovers and if I do wake up with a minger replace the coffee or tea with a chilled can in the fridge..normally does the trick that..

I can only drink Smirnoff, everything else tastes rank. Like in lager only Kroney/Stella/ maybe Grolsch or Hoegaarden if i can afford it cos everything else tastes like wee/low strength ;)

Stella or Vodka on their own can be killers, mix them during the day and your on to a loser but mix them together in the same drink and your proper f**ked! It was a recommended hangover cure from some smart arsed Scottish barman and it certainly doesn't work! or maybe I just had too many

Can't touch cider nowadays, used to drink that when I was 14/15 lol! Nothing gets u wrecked quicker than cider though lol!

Stella makes me really flirty sometimes, don't know why though! Vodka juts gets me wrecked and makes me do karaoke and stuff or dance to some cheesy music that I don't normally like.

Boxing day im going to Bristol to watch Plymouth play but im gonna be at home in cornwall then so will have to make do with the quality nightage down there :rolleyes: Judge Jules playing on the 19th dec at the Barn Club in Penzance! thats like 1 min walk from my house :laugh: maybe get him to come round my house for an aftershow party :D

Gonna get up to golden in the next couple of weeks though, probably the all-nighter on the 14th with julesy, anne savage and eddie halliwell. AVE IT!

Saw PVD in Cream in Ibiza last summer along with Tiesto, pure class! Going to Godskitchen in Brum this Friday when it's Tiesto solo, 6 hour set! Some of my m8's from back up Stoke are coming down for it aswell.

PVD and Tiesto did some sets in Golden in June and August I think, but you probably hadn't started Uni then?

Best night was when Andy Farley played, wasnt really into him but was the best night ever! :D Gonna see PVD as soon as he plays anywhere remotely near me though. He's my main influence in what i DJ (save DJ Astrid) and from all the livesets ive heard, he's absolutely banging. God knows what it must be like live! :Rock: :Banana:

I normally find named/themed bars shite for shots etc. A dodgy local is better where you can sample the under counter delights such as the Jagermeister and Absinthe the regular truck driver has flogged them.

A good dare is to have a chilli vodka. Really painfull, so powerfull it burns your mouth for at least 10 minutes afterwards! You have to make sure you have a pint with you before you have it or else you will die! I've had 2 chilli's in a row before in the Stoke Revolution shortly before I went Uni, wasn't the most pleasent experience. :angryfire
