Exactly what I think mate, although the God of beers Stella runs it close! JD and coke has got to be the nicest alcoholic drink in the world.

And more good news JD and coke fans, Jack Daniels are bringing out a Jack Daniels and coke flavour alcopop drink. We were walking through Birmingham town centre and we were stopped by a woman who asked us if we would like to taste test some new Jack Daniels alcopops that will hopefully be on sale sometime in the next year. Bloody nice it was too. The JD and ginger beer flavour was pretty nice too. As for WHEN they will be on general sale I don't know before anybody asks me! What I will say is though that they are certainly worth a try when they are released.

Well strictly speaking, Drambuie and Bailies (and possibly Schnapps as well) are liqueurs and not spirits so ya poll is bolloxed anyway ;)

Bailies is a really REALLY nice drink but not something I'd set out to drink if I wanted to get hammered.

Quite like Bacardi but I can't drink it cos it makes me fight :( so I'll go with Schnapps instead!

God I'm bored, landed with YET MORE HOMEWORK from my stupid Uni course.

Part of (well all of it!) it's my fault for leaving all my homework to the last 2 weeks of term! I suppose it could be seen as a blessing in disguise bacause I'm totally skint, I've just arranged a £500 overdraft today! :eek: :eek:

Don't be so sure... several doubles or home measures can have an amazing effect to sobriety!! Doesn't have the harsh sober --> bolloxed thing like with vodka and that, but its dangerous enough!

I did get pissed off schnapps in Ibiza, but only after we did the 'shot challenge' in our room. The challenge was to have 6 shots in a row, each a different flavour, and repeat until you give up! Think we had peach, raspberry, strawberry, apple, orange and 'the killer' butterscotch (don't ask, u can get sum mental flavours in Ibiza)! The butterscotch flavour was predictably foul and we put that last so it became the killer, in other words your stomach was already crying no more after the 1st 5 and you were left with the most disgusting flavour last! Think we managed 12 shots each so we were predictably pretty nailed!!

The £500 overdraft isn't bad, i've got a student account with 0% interest for 5 years so I can easily pay it back with no worriess. I most probably won't use anywhere near £500 anyway it's just there as a buffer till my next installment of my loan is due in January.

Personally I find the blue one a bit grim - the red one is much nicer. Aftershocks are handy if you're flagging - pick you up in no time.

Bailey's is nice (Bailey's Haagen Daz Ice cream is top btw) and I do like Sherry.

It's interesting about spirits that people like because most people have said the spirit they prefer but it's mixed with something else. I personally like Rum and lemonade. I wouldn't exactly call meself a huge fan of Rum unless mixed with lemonade or, at a push, coke. I was never a JD and coke person until me sister, her fella and I got wasted when she came over in April. I had it for the 1st time but I'm not really a spirit drinker.

Plus what the hell are aftershocks?

Oh yer forgot about aftershocks, they are dead sticy like syrup! I used to like them, but I've gone off them really badly now. If I have to pick a fave then the red one's for me.

Aftershocks are basically the alcoholic equivalent of cough mixture - look like it, taste a bit like it and clear your senses up in no time! They do leave you absolutely blitzed though.

Anyway...method to drink it...

In a solid shot glass...ask an adult if you can borrow their lighter...light the liquid leave to flame maybe two three seconds...blow out...pick glass up by the thick base if you touch the top you will get burnt fingers...:dunce: ....pour said warmish spirit into mouth...do not swallow proceed to swill it around like a mouthwash...then tilt head back swallow the lot....put head back into normal position..pinch your nostrils then take in a deep breath...

If you can do more than two without throwing up or going into immediate semi Gaa-Gaa state I would like to mmet up for a session...

Two points:
1) JD is actually a bourbon not a whiskey, but I'm being pedantic there
2) Aftershock is a foul bastard of a drink that you should avoid at all costs. Drunk 1/2 a bottle of the red stuff after a night out in Wolverhampton (oddly enough) and had the worst twatting hangover of my life.

Absynthe of course,its all good closely followed by vodka/bacardi. Aftershock doesnt affect me at all, i only do doubles if i ever do it but for some reason sod all happens to me. We bought a bottle and me and my mate did like 15 shots but we were still sober, wierd as hell!:laugh:

As I mentioned, the g/f likes the blue one. One of her drinks when she is out is double (70ml)blue aftershock and red bull. :sick:

Absinthe is only worth it if its the proper Hills stuff. Fair enough if you are in Prague where its a tenner a bottle but a bastard in the UK where ive seen it sold for £50 a time.

Also get a Purple Death....get 2 red aftershocks in a pint glass and mix with a blue WKD. The problem with this drink is that it's too nice so you end up drinking them while quick and then all of a sudden you're blocked :)

Thats the foulest drink going and I think it's the strongest you can buy in a bar...nasty stuff.
