I didnt used to be so scared to go the dentist, but since i saw the film "the dentist", i am absolutely terrified!
someone else having the same problem? :eek:

That's who I thought the thread was about originally. Then I saw sosh was the author and realised she's too much of a lady to orchestrate a slanging match.

The dentist? I must say I haven't been to the dentist for ages. They say every six months go for a check up...i haven't been for two years...

Yes, odd that this thread was started now as I went to the dentist this morning for the first time since 1988. Was expecting to be told that all my teeth must be extracted immediately or that I had cancer of the jaw or something but in fact I just need a couple of fillings replaced. Will cost £400 though, but spread out over 15 years that's not so bad.

£400 quid :eek: :eek:

Having always had the dentist paid for that shocks me that fillings cost so much.
