Every time I use a Post It note I think, "I wish I'd invented these !"
Bits of yellow paper FFS !
But I bet the guy who invented them is a millionaire !
i know! :clap: i couldnt make a day without them! lol they“re brilliant!
He isn't mate. He was a scientist working for 3M looking for different types of adhesives and stumbled onto this one. The terms of his contract meant that all his discoveries were the property of the company.
Now, the man that glued a rubber on top of a pencil...

the bloke who invented the coat hanger, he made an absolute fortune. seems the simplest things we take for granted were once invented/patented to make someone very very rich.

What do I wish I'd invented? Looking at the worlds rich list, I'd have to say MSDOS/Windows. Granted, I'm far to stupid to have been able to do that but looking at Mr gate's 65 billion odd dollars, I still wish I had! ;)
Failing that... The pill! Not only providing a service to of the world, all over, but think of the hours of fun spent during the testing stage too... :D

I in fact have a great idea for an invention! How about...the vibro-glove!
Slip it on yer hand, dig out your old soldier, and in minutes he will be standing to attention and firing at will!
And the added bonus that you don't get your fingers messy!

DNA was a discovery not an invention, unless you mean invent the device to detect it ;)
I wish I could discover how to do Nuclear Fusion.
I wish i invented the space shuttle,

Erik Wallenberg and some other Swedish bloke invented the "Tetra Pak" - I think I read somewhere that they get something like 1c on every carton that uses their design (i.e. all of them!) so they are multi-billionaires!
