What age were you when you first sampled alcohol and what was it that you were drinking?

Dunno if I should admit this but I developed a liking for snowballs from the age of 7 or 8! :o

Got a tad light headed on lager shandies when I was about ten....raided the drinks cabinet when I was about twelve one christmas..brandy is now a no no....off my face on stella at fifteen...

At our age we should be trading in the lager for Horlicks....tis just a pity she is too tired so gotta get a lager instead....

Bout 13 and it's how it always starts, house parties with a bottle of cider between about four of you. :laugh: Then started getting into pubs and drinking around once a week at about 16 / 17.

Aye, Cider it was. Twas about 13/14, we saved up some paper round money and got this bloke outside the offy to buy us some cheap cider. We got absolutely shitfaced.

At about 8 I used to love glugging the port at Christmastime when no-one was around .

Later on , three bad experiences that I can immediately recall.

One at 15 , drinking barley wine like lemonade during a cup final . Totally out of it - nearly smashed my head open on the kerb outside.

At 16 , knocking back a bottle of vodka and being booted out of the Rainbow .

Also at 16 , attending a docker's wedding and working my way round the various optics. :drink: :sick:

I'd rather have a spleef though to be honest. I must've had my first when I was 14.

I was 15, and it was at my confirmation party. We were on a camp for 3 weeks, 20 lads and 15 girls.. hehe. We had a big party after we got confirmated in church. That was also the day i first kissed someone with a tongue as well.. Well actually they were two! haha

I think it was 14 at this lad's house party, mixed up a shitload of drinks which def aint wise when you're gettin wasted for the first time, ended up bein sick on his drive a couple of times but felt ok after and felt fine in the morning, the realisation i dont get hangovers.

13 nearly 14, when we first went to the under 18's night (nappy night) at local club Valentino's.

I looked the oldest out of my m8's so I was the one landed with having to try and get served in Bargain Booze, and somehow despite being 13 I managed to get served and bought about 12 cans of fosters and a few bottles of cider between about 6 of us. We got absolutely twatted off that and somehow we managed to sneak past the bouncers without them spotting that we were drunk and got into the club! :laugh: :salute:

It's been one downhill drunken spiral since then, feck knows how I managed to get into Uni

the first time i was seriously p1ssed was when we went "camping" whe i was about 13. Cant rmemebr what i drak but i know there were no tents put up and we ended yp just sleeping in a field in sleeping bags. Wot lightweights we were. I was getting served from 14 tho so me and my mate used to get a bottle of vodka every Friday and drink it in my room - until i ended up in hospital I drink waaaaaay too much now tho - there's not bin one nite this year when i havent had at least one alcoholic drink! And who says theres no benefits from woprkin in a pub?!?

And yes I';m drunk now if anyone was wondering.

Like a few others I was about 13, went to a Wolves away match and it was without either of my parents and we were stopping over for a few days with a friend and his old man.

Had spent all week trying to persuade the mother, in the end she let me go, on the basis of my mates dad saying we'll be fine, I'll keep an eye on them both, and lots of reasurrances.

Anyway, go to the game, win 2-1, buzzin go find a supermarket and buy a fair whack of food for the hotel (self catering) so my mates dad flings in a couple of 3litre bottles of cider "eh ar lads, enjoy it!" looks at me "what you're mom doesn't see can't harm her!"

So get back to the hotel room and neck back the cider, mate was a lightweight and never lasted the pace so I finished his off as well as mine, after that, my mates dad suggested to put lager in with the cider for a snakebite, lovely fella...I got completely twatted, thank god I had a couple of days before I faced my mom otherwise I'd have been for it.

Never tried to get served before I was 18, have been doing since my 18th, but always prefer somebody else to 'gerrum in'

Always up for a drink down the pub, and have only just recovered from a party which I held on Friday - drinking through to Sunday.
