This 40 year old guy is driving home from work and he pulls into his driveway, walked up to his apartment, and then sees his girlfriend with her bag packed up. He says, "Honey, why are you leaving me"
she say, " cus I hear you're a pedifile!"
He responds, "Pedifile?... Thats a pretty big word for a 10 year old, don't you think?"

Flyso of course is correct, I'm geographically Irish (as a Geo degree holder I can accept that, in the same way that therefore the southern Irish are also British, being from the British Isles;)) but I can assure you that I'm not Irish, being a hybrid Jock and Tommy (no Taffy, though!)

He is indeed - unless of course the limey in question has an ounce of understanding that is! Wonder how many have gone and purchased travellers cheques for their visit recently?

i don't have any problem saying im an Irishman, so long as my meaning is understood.
Im as much an Irishman as daniel, gerry adams, and eamon de valera - but im a different sort of Irishman, im a British Irishman
but like i say, i wont say im irish, unless its completly understod what sort of irish, ie not very often
so generally i dont bother
