a. if the last month's posts are lost forever
b. when the clock is being fixed
c. why we had to go and **** everything up and move servers anyway.....

dont see why all the posts have been lost unless theres some relationship problems between zeb and joe.. zeb owns chilli which hosts this erm, forgetful forum, whereas joe owns the atjeu server that has the forum with the months posts on it.. The only way those posts are lost forever is if Joe wont give zeb the backup of that site..., or there might be a complicaton because now this site has a shiteload of new posts and they may be lost if the current atjeu site is transferred over... aaargh confuddled..

Right - there was a problem with the server move whereby some of the latest posts where not updated to the new server. This was basically a cockup by the people we paid to move the site and the place that hosts the new server.

The new server is now running FF but the old site is still accessible from the old IP for another month till the server shuts down. Unfortunately as this server now has numerous new posts, if I try and get back the old posts from the new server it could well knock out the whole of the new database!

So as there are now numerous new posts on the new FF site I think it is best to just accept the fact the old posts have gone. I'm really sorry about this, but there is little I can do without risking the whole of the new site. Hopefully the issue will pass as more new posts are placed on this site.

Again - I'm really sorry about the problem, but it was done in the best interests of the site as it is now on one of the fastest servers and connections you can get so you should have maximum uptime and speed from now on.
