Infidel - you know NAHTING! ;)
John Peel said White Stripes were the best band since Sex Pistols and Jimi Hendrix - so dont go pinning the 'blame' on NME for their hype!
and just because I like 2 of their songs doesnt mean I pure believe it or anything

Yeah Infidel, I must admit, i've only seen them live once and hell, i was completely stunned at first.
I was like, "What the f**k is this?", then 5 minutes later I was singing and dancing to them :)
I haven't laughed so much at a gig ever!! Shouts of, "Thundercats are go!" and "Feel the force!" behind me was pretty funny too
Hey Tru Blu, I went off OCS a bit cause i must have seen them like about 20 times over the years (the manics syndrome) and i was getting bored with their music to be honest.
Have you got 'B-Sides, Seasides and Freerides'? Great collection from the boys. Every track on the CD is great :D

My mate recommened to me:
Deftones - Change (in the house of flies)
Deftones - My Own Summer
Deftones - Be Quiet and drive
I got them and must say that they are excellent songs even though they wouldnt usually be my type of thing.

Did you catch the Mogwai Peel session last wednesday ? I recorded it onto minidisc but it pissed down that night and the recording has interference through parts of it. The parts that werent affected sounded excellent though.

What program do most of ya lot use to d/l music these days then? I'm itching to give my brand new, ultra funky ADSL line a stretch of it's legs, but I've only got WinMX which seems to work sporadically at best. I've heard some good stuff about morpheus, but also heard there are security issues wif it.
So.. any reccomendations?

i use audiogalaxy which is pretty decent and i assume that using a cable will make it a hell of a lot faster, although unfortunately some songs are blocked but people have found ways round them

Yeah I recorded it too, if you want to downlaod a cleaner version, have alook round some of the Mogwai fan sites, I'm sure it'll appear online in the next coupla days or so...
I'm going to see them again in a couple of weeks, too. :D

I use Audiogalaxy Satellite and I think its really good.
Dead reliable n all that. Mind u ive never tried Morpheus or Winmx so I dont have much of a reference point.
I do have B-Sides, Seasides and Free-rides (or whatever itscalled), and yeah it is good (thats where I heard Robin Hood, and the version of The Circle on that is better htan the radio edit I think). Havent listened to it in a while but actually. I went off OCS basically because...their albums went downhill! I got Mosely Shoals, and the one after that, and the B-sides one. Havent listened to ANY of them in ages but!
The Day We Caught The Train was my favourite ever song though at one point.

Infidel’s patented ultimate ‘hey let’s go back to my room and listen to some music :D’ compilation album play list...
Nine Inch Nails – A Warm Place (very unNINlike btw)
Mogwai – Tracey
Mogwai – Sine Wave
Mogwai – Summer
Doves – Reprise & A house (must be played one after t’other)
Aphex Twin – Heliosphan
Moby – God moving over the face of the water
Moby – My Weakness
Boards of Canada – Roygbiv
I'm not convinced that this is the best running order, it needs to end on something epic and noisy...

This Week I have been mostly downloading:
Pretty much the entire back catalouge of Matchbox 20, and in particular their earlier songs.
Dire Straits: Romeo + Juliet (Live) A Fantastic Version of a funky song.
And oh yeah if you wanna laugh get a song called "I want an Alien for Christmas" by Fountains of Wayne. Mind you most of their songs crack me up ;)
Supoib!!!
