I've set up my own Cricket Club. I was just wondering if someone could help with a quick question i have?

We've set up a Club account with HSBC. What we want to do is basically set up a direct debit thing, so that every month a fixed amount of money goes into the club account from the bank accounts of the members. Basically like every other company/organisation does every month, eg Sky, Gym membership etc.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Although the nutters around FF are probably a lot more friendly and helpful and better trained in customer service. And you don't have to queue.

this is true.

i dont understand the complaints about banks though, whenever i go to the bank here there are more staff in it than customers.

the bank in the town i live in here is absolutely huge - so many people work there - there are like a squillion floors.
anyway, every time i go in there, there's only one person ahead of me in the queue and yet i always have to wait for like 20 minutes :mad:

Each of your members should set up a standing order from their account to the club account.

They will need to take the club's account number and sort code to their bank and give a set date each month for the money to be taken.

Pretty simple - do a similar thing with my rent.

Just what i was about to suggest! :clap:
Standing orders would be better in this case.
