last nite discgraced Erinsborough business man Lou Carpenter was a free man again after a succesful appeal. Did he deserve it or should he have served the full sentence....

He deserved to be released. He is friendly and has a heart of a lion and an astute busniness man who made one mistake in his career.

As Toadie said in the court "He didn't kill somebody or kiddie fiddled, he simply took a gamble on a horse which proved to be a big mistake. Does that deserve 3 years in prison?"

I very much doubt it.

I was quite tired yesterday afternoon, and wasn't paying too much attention, but I doubt Toadie used the phrase kiddie fiddling. This is wholesome family entertainment dammit!

A big clap for the Australian court system, two weeks for an appeal to go through successfully.
