...anyone tell me what the f*ck happened with the traditional "Bond movie" on the box this X-mas?

Did I miss it whilst in a food and drink induced stupor or there really wasn't one? :angryfire

Seems like they forgot to slip it into the schedule with so much other quality programming to be crammed in.......

I suppose it ain't easy to bump off "I'm a transgender celebrity millionaire brother...behind the scenes II" from the schedules.

I wish certain other traditional screenings would have been blitzed from the schedules. The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music must be already listed for Christmas 2005.

This years telly is the worst ever, no Only Fools either, and no decent comedies at all.

Only Auf Wiedersien pet has got my tv guide highlighted.

Did you hear about the Church of England complaining about Harry Potter being on TV on Christmas day? Gives kids the wrong ideas apparently  Chill out!!

Over here..."The Sound of Music" "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's A Wonderful Life(Jimmy Stewart) are the X-Mas staples...The Sound of music is a tremendous movie...but it's shoved up your arse...It's a Wonderful Life...is a must see classic.

Turner Classic Movies runs a Bond marathon at least once a year...

On New Year's Day, in the New York area at least..our local channle always, always runs a "Honeymooners" marathon (the show was filmed in the 50's!" As well as the Twighlight Zone Marathon(Pure class)

I'm too busy watching all my new DVDs to watch the crap on the telly.

What has happened to 'The Great Escape' this Christmas, where is it?

Bloody disgrace, I'd write to my MP if I knew who he/she was and I wasn't just too bone idle . . . :angryfire

Considering how the BBC is so poor it prety much can't afford any decent sports coverage they havent done half bad in comparison to ITV on Christmas telly this year.

From Christmas eve to the day after boxing day ITV had a grand total of ZERO decent films on and tried to make up for this with 3.5 hrs of corrie. Channel 5 had better telly and ITV was the worst of all terrestrial channels by a huge margin.

Well I have yet to cave in to the demands of Sky and as a result it is The Italian Job on BBC 1 at the moment for me.

Anyone else tuning in to Camp Freddy and the gang?

TBS ran 'Showgirls' the other night--if they cut up 'Sex And The City' I can't imagine how much of 'Showgirls' was left after the censors were done with it...:p

And hey, nothing says Christmas like Liz Berkley and Gina Gershon in full lip-lock...

What baffles me is that none of the sweet manufacturers have yet paid to take forward Mr Wonka's products. That wallpaper you could lick and the everlasting Gobstopper.......
