Was working last night and it was only for 5 hours but it was the slowest shift i have ever done, was like a week in jail and it was rather depressing and i pointed out about 40 common things i hate about the place in my head.

In no order:

1. When am put out on trolley's at the weekend and i bust a nut getting all the trolley's but there is no wee one's about, an elderly person always comes up "have ye got any wee trolley's son?" then you need to fetch her one and when you finally come back with just the one, she has fecked off.

2. A regular 8 hour shift, I am only given one half an hour break. Shocking.

3. After a work night out, the amount of people that are in work the next day walking about with swaggers is astounding and everytime you walk by somebody..."HAVE YE SOABERD UP YET?"

4. Supervisor: "You want to do over-time tomorrow for us?" "No sorry I can't". "Why not - it's us that is doing you the favour". EH???

5. This guy comes in every single night including weekends to get the offers eg Bread reduced from 20p now down to 10p. You want to tell him to get a feckin life.

Rant over.

What's yours?

i get loads of that on my meat and fish counter at waitrose. even have some tight ****ers who who spend a good 3-4 hours prowlling around the shop waiting for things close to their sell by date to be reduced. and they always make a joke of it , like.... `do you have anything not fit for human consumption thats been reduced? hahaha` (how funny.... you tight twat)

No. I work(ed) for a small catering company getting contracts with pubs/restaurants, sometimes residential for fish and meat supplies. Job used to take me all over the place. The owners couldn't cover their costs and decided to call it a day.

1. - Working with old buggers, also they don’t have a clue when it comes to computers

2. - Them thinking they are really smart when in fact they are quite thick buggers! And because they are centuries older than me therefore they are smarter than me by far also them making sarcastic comments and other jibes in reference to me, knowing I wont get up and smack them

3. - Having to work with people who are prejudice and bigotries
A - I got told before “Enjoy Christmas Sunil, which ever way you celebrate it” :blah: (WTF! I celebrate it the same way you do!)
B - I was talking about my grand parents to someone before a work colleague interrupted and said “Yeah your grandparents had nothing” (WTF – my grandparents probably had a harder life than that person and yet they have more in every sense than what that person has)
Why the **** get into my conversation with a negative thing like that, she knows nothing about me!
C – they probably think I eat curry all day and stupid things about me like that, purely because of the colour of my skin!

4 -. Having a gay person work in the same building, and have him wave and smile at me.

5. Having to listen to people talk about their kids who are around age and are dumb ****s yet they speak highly of them as though they are greater than me, the whole point to why they do it is to piss me off! :lame:

Also if I do their work for them, then I’m trying to ‘run the place’

You might not be right mate

Results from a site found through Google. British site too.

Employee Entitlement to Breaks

An employee aged 18 years or over is entitled to a 20 minute undisturbed break for every 6 hour shift they work. They are also entitled to 11 hours rest between each work day and are further entitled to one full day off each week.

An employee aged less than 18 years old (from the minimum age of leaving school) is entitled to a 30 minute undisturbed break for every 4.5 hour shift they work. They are also entitled to 12 hours rest between each work day and are further entitled to two full days off each week.

Employees are not liable to have toilet breaks without the consent of their employer. However, for the sake of your employees' health, it is better for them to use the toilet freely.

Oh and on Wednesday, I was there at 7.30 and didn't have a lesson until 9.30 - then the teacher just made me laminate stuff for an hour. THAT WAS IT!!
Man, I was pissed off

1. The queue outside when i get to work even though we're not due to open for another 20 minutes.
2. The people in the queue inside when we've just opened, looking at you as if to say come on, we want our money and you're not working fast enough.
3. Smelly pensioners who stink of piss, and other smelly people who look as if they haven't washed for a year and smell like it too.
4. People with bad breath that you can smell even when you're behind a glass screen and standing as far back as you can from that.
5. People who come in at the last minute as you're about to close the door and want to do something really long-winded like an insured parcel to Saudi Arabia and they haven;t filled out any customs forms or anything, so you're there til at least 5.45, sorting things out for them even when you've already told them it won;t leave the office until the next day as the post has already been collected.

They're all bastards!

*Getting up early

*people moaning when we have to order things in and we tell them it will be a while cos its only a small order 'I can get something from Thailand in 3 days, why does it take 3 weeks to get something from Newcastle?!'

*people who have no idea what they are coming to but, been sent in by relatives etc

*people who wander round for ages, ask to try half the shop on, ask to use our toilet, then walk out having bought bugger all

*people complaining that a certain item isnt in the sale 'ooh, thats a bit expensive, can you not just knock a fiver off it, I wont tell anyone'

1. The fact I have to get up really early

2. The fact that I live 10minutes away, but it takes 45minutes to get to work because of traffic

3. We have about 300 more cars than car parking spaces to people park anywhere, blocking your view and sometimes blocking you in

4. Snotty people who go around putting tickets on your car for being illegally parked. Its stupid, I mean there is more cars than spaces. I didnt park illegally because Im a jackass, because there was no where else park

5. People who thinking making the car park one way and adding 35 extra spaces will solve the prblem

6. My Line Manager knows next to nothing about my job

7. My team manager is a waste of space

8. My department manager has a habbit of making decision without any discussion

9. Because I am the trainee (last years) I've been put through hell and stuff for the last year, always getting to drinks in and doing whatever was asked of me

10. The new trainee (this years) is the exact opposite of me, doesnt get the drinks in, refuse to do work because of a coffee break, or lunch or home time

11. The new trainee has a pair of tits and the senior member of the team wants to get in her knickers so she gets treated better than me, has more respect than me will likely be promoted over me despite the fact she is a stuck up and cow and doesnt do her job well at all

12. The fact the senior member in question is quite happen to insult me all ****ing day every day, yet when I give a little bit of banter back he snaps and tries to fight me

13. Last night on a team do I smacked the senior member of my team in the face:)

14. The other senior member of my team talks down to me a alot of the time

15. He also smells of piss and oranges

16. The one person I like in the team I sit next to, but now we are all moving desks.

17. I now have to sit next to the orange and piss smelling hippy

18. The desk moves covinetly leave the new stuck up cow trainee sitting next to the senior who wants to get in her knickers

19. The fact since January I've worked late every night because I have work, if I try to delegate it to stuck up cow trainee she refuses.

20. Always in at 8, now leaving about 6 with an hour lunch

21. New trainee gets in at 9, chats with her mates, gets a coffee, goes for lunch does no work and goes dead on 4

22. The fact I work my ****ing bollocks off alot more than most members of the team yet still get treated like shite

23. To get promoted you need to do your MYFs(some crappy paper work) because I've been working my bollocks off since I joined I havent got it done

24. The new trainee does **** all, refuses work so has time to do her MYF which means she can go for promotion despite being shit

25. I have so much work to do, Im in a no win situation I do one piece, someone isnt happy because I havent done another piece.

26. I get moaned at for not delegating, despite the fact I have tried

27. There was no hot chocolate in starbucks this morning

28. The senior member of our team is now sending me death threats

29. Matts manners are terrible, I dont need to smell every burp you do and guess what you had for lunch

30. In conclusion at the moment in my job I am competitng against a pair of tits. I am better at my job been there longer. I work harder, longer and better. But she has tits so I'm never going to win am I....

I hate my ****ing job so much, thanks for letting me get this massive bitch rant off my chest

Now for the positives

1. It pays well
2. Dont have to work weekends
