Im off to Ibiza this year on a lads holiday. staying in the bay not far from where all the bars and pubs are.

whats the hits and misses of Ibiza?

I went 3 years ago and it was great.

Try to get to the Waterpark, it's the only one on the island and is right next to a great club called Cream.

I've also heard Amnesia nightclub is pretty good as well... Watch Kevin and Perry go large and you're sorted. :D

The main miss is gettin the flight out there. ;)

A lot of people say it's outdated and crap out there now, load of pillheads n weirdo's spouting too much, too loud.

not been personally, but everyone that I know who has has enjoyed it. Just go to all the normal big clubs and ya can't go wrong - Manumission, El Divino's, any Ministry nights will be pucker as well.

Ibiza was alrite when i went in october

San Antonio where i stayed had many clubs.

They were fine also.

Not as good as Edinburgh though if looking for anywhere to go for nighclubs

Was in San Antonio Bay last year and even chanced going into the town on a few occasions but well before midnight.

The obvious hit was the weather and the miss was the 7 hour delay on the homeward flight :cry:

Depends what your after really. Been the last two years and am likely to go this year. Stayed in san antonio both times. There are two sides to the place. There's the sunset strip bars and the like e.g mambo, bar m, kanya, del mar etc. Depending on the night these mainly hold chill out sessions or pre-parties to a specific club night. Can find some good day events in a couple as well. Then theres the West End which does offer very decent music focused bars (even including a rock club)or the 'lets just get you shitfaced' bars. There are a lot of both as well.

What we've tended to do out there is mix it a bit with days and nights away in places like space, dc10 etc. which are superb but heavy on the wallet. Eden/Es Paradis (bit of history, the rolling stones and bob marley ahve both played tehre) hold a few decent nights a week the best last year was Garlands at Eden which was unbeliveable for 10 euros when judgement sunday was costing 40E. As i said, it depends what your looking for buts its a legendary place with a classic atmosphere.

Ibiza = overpriced shite hole.

£40 to get into a club, £8 for a bottle of water and £9-10 for beer.

The place is a shitehole, Cafe del mar is a discrace full of chavs who have turned the beach into a rubbish tip full of fags ends, beer cans and used condoms.

The clubs are massive and would be great but for the milllions of dodgy russians trying to sell you drugs 24/7 and stupid prices.

Seriously if you want a clubbing holiday get your arse to Berlin, its cheaper, its tidy and the people are much more friendly.

depends what your after, 10-15 years ago Ibiza was a legitimate, vibrant music scene. now it's full of horror show super clubs and pisshead ****s. question is... ARE YOU A CVTN?

Well you stay away from my sister then as she's hitting Newquay with her mates.

Both Ibiza and Newquay are outdated nowadays though ;) Went to Newquay a good 4 years ago now but it was good all the same

Stayed in Sofia when England played away at Macedonia. Good crack, friendly locals and a fair few fit women.

Privillage and Amnesia are amazing had a great time @ most of the clubs when I went on a lads hoilday last year but be careful in San Antonio its full of Chav's

What are you going for though?

Clubbing? if so, like i and others have said Berlin and Eastern Europe are the best for this...its sunny in summer and the city has lots of history and culture ;)

Sun and Sand? Try the adriatic coast for a change, Croatia or Slovenia.

Cheap shags? Essex

Went to San Antonio Ibiza in 1996. Not impressed. Place was a shithole and the clubs were something like £20+ to get in and bottles of water and beer at least £3 each back then I think. Dread to think how much worse it is now.:eek:
