Ok as you know I took to playing again this year football, I got my season ticket with Argyle, before I started playing, I was only there for a hand because I couldn't make it every week but I said now I would miss the Argyle games and play and go Argyle when I wasn't playing, any way last saturday was our last friendly of pre-season we were home to Derby I missed it and went and played for a friendly! Today first league game just got a call, be up there 1:30, your starting as sub because you can't make it every week :angryfire thats the last Argyle game I miss for that ignorant ****, I was going Palace today but no, I stayed to sit on the bench... i'm fecking gutted and too make it even better? It's my girlfriends birthday and shes gone to Palace and i'm fecking stuck here sitting on the bench! Unreal! I'm going to tell him after today games he can stick his fecking football I think... What do you recon? I'm just gutted at the moment...

Stuff it. You're making a sacrifice dear to your heart and he treats you like that.

Thats what I said, I just got back, first thing he said when he took over the team was... "Earn you place, keep your place" I earnt it and he took it away, only 4 of the starting 11 today played in the friendly last saturday, now that aint right... went over there...

"Whats going on then because I aint missing Argyle to sit on the bench"
"We finished the game with 10 men because all you subs fecked off..."
"I'm not going to stay there when Argyles on and I could be listening to it at the very least when I get treated like this after I missed the Derby game to play for you last week and today 7 people walked into the team that didn't play saturday, why?"
"Because there better than you"
"Which is why I have had other clubs in higher leagues want me but I stayed here to do you a favor yeah?"
"Just feck off to Argyle then"
"See can't even speak to you without being a big headed tw@t"
"Just feck off"
"Earn your place keep your place eh?"

I walked out then with him still mouthing off...

Maybe I'm missing something. You're saying that because you're sacrificing going to Plymouth matches, you think that you should be entitled to automatically start in every game rather than be on the bench?

No the fact it was earn your place keep your place and I missed Argyle game to play in a friendly in order to earn my place is why I think I should start the game insted of people who are too bone idle to go to friendlys and get in the team...

Maybe you just aren't good enough.

Ok many clubs around he have asked to to play for them (local ish) all within about 10 mile radius but taking your point, even if I wasn't, he said earn your place keep your place, I actually sacrificed something I have already paid for in order to play for my place, it's my home town, I showed a desire to play the others couldn't be arsed to turn up should have been dropped, kick 'em up the arse, thats basically said would happen but the same as every where else if your in with him your safe...

Shit happens Busby, to a manager you're just another pawn in their game plan.

I got rang up friday night out saying I've been put in the 3rd team on the sat to gain match fitness as I've only played 1 competive game since february at uni  I thought I was moved from the first team to the 2nd for that reason :dunce:

Worst thing you can do is moan about it, just bite your lip and come back more determined so that he can't leave you out next time. Best to show your actions on the pitch rather than out of your mouth ;)

Too late... I can play somewhere else if hes going to be an arse hole, more determined next time? What if I miss Argyle which I already have my season ticket for, most of the games for 10 minutes here and ther trying to prove any thing?

Thats the problem with saturday footy...gotta choose between playing and watching :(

I'd rather play and get to games when i can, midweek etc. Not gonna be able to play forever, might as well enjoy it :)
