Hope no-one has had as much trouble getting to work in London as I have had this morning
Here is the disruption map for this morning.........
http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a10/silentbob9484/RD-T.gif
I was trying to get to London Bridge to travel onto Kent to visit a off site contractor. It took me an hour and a half to get to London Bridge courtesy of a person under a train at Seven Sisters, a security alert at Mile End and defective safety equipment at Bank conspiring to screw up the whole network.
Then when I got to London Bridge the cash machine swallowed my card :angryfire and left me with no money to get to Kent so I had to drag my arse to work to cancel my card.
Anyone else had any nightmare journey, either this morning or any other times.

Nothing as bad as that i dont think bob, just the usual leaves on the train tracks and a fallen tree last friday was rather annoying.

I can't help but notice (a small) part of your journey involved the MISERY line bob. YOu'll know never to take that one again.

Yes, I hate the Northern line with a passion! Fortunately my journey to work, Wood Green to Westminster only involves the Piccadilly and Jubilee lines. Typical that the one day I need to go somewhere other than work, is the worst journey of my life!

The question surely answers itself.
It's a FACT that only people who live in LONDON ever encounter train delays or traffic jams, the rest of the country invariably get to t'mill in good time every day on our horse and carts, bereft of any commuter stress and as fresh as daisys.

I've only been to London once to go to Wembley, and what an excellent day it was.
Might go to Highbury though since they're moving.

Why are we meant to care that you were delayed?
Because as you well know the world revolves around London and to its inhabitants, anything that happens anywhere else is unimportant!

Why are we meant to care that you were delayed?
You're not. You're suppose to rage at the awful public transport in this country, and I know that doesn't just affect London. And then post your own nightmare journeys.
