ROnaldo's and RVN's scroing ratios are amazing.
Huntelaar has scored goals in a crap league.
Henry's Scoring ratio has been hurt due to the fact that the initial part of his career he started as a winger.

Larsson & Huntelaar played the majority of their career in a crap league. Henry started off as a winger initially. Ronaldo isn't even a striker. I'd like to add Gabriel 'Batigol' Batistuta too - 305 goals 518 games, 0.59. If only Shearer hasn't had scored over 60 penalties, I might rank him up there along the greatest goal-scorers too. And surely this list wouldn't be complete without Pele - wide regarded as the greatest ever goal-scorer? (over a millenium of goals, albeit shit league)

Larsson has scored goals everywhere he went. at the age of 35 man utd & barca showing interest. how many players that age get those moves?
Also Larsson won the golden boot, which he would have won more if he played in a better rated league.
also Huntelaar - where did van nistelrooy come from? holland as well.
I was going to add pele but i thought that was a bit obvious lol the guy was a machine
Also Larsson won the golden boot, which the points in that take the league you play in for consideration too so that speaks for itself

Yeah, but van Nistelrooy has also scored a shedload of goals in Spain and England, which Huntelaar has yet to do.

But Van Nistelrooy scored bucketfuls of goals wherever he went to. Be it the Dutch Eredivisie, Premier League or La Liga, he has finished as top-scorer in all of them. Great international record too. Huntelaar pretty much flopped in both La Liga & Serie A. That's the difference.

Again, shit league.
Just Fontaine - 196 goals 221 games 0.89 Ratio
At least the French Ligue 1 is better than the Croatian league. Beat that.
Edit: Aargh, Puskas you muthaf*cka!

give the guy a chance lol he got a move to r.madrid and just happened to be around the same time their board are willing to shell out 50-80 million on folk. meaning he's surplus to requirments.
For Real Madrid he scored 8 goals in 13 starts (7 substitute apps)
Now he's getting his first season at Milan. he's played 7 (even some of these sub apps) and not scored yet, this is really the first bad spell he's went through and it's only 7 games so no worries he'll start to score again.

I have a mandolin...
Josef Bican is the top scorer in the history of football. Scoring at least 805 competitive goals(!) in 530 matches:
http://www.rsssf.com/players/prolific.html
That gives him a scoring ratio 1.52 goals per game. Not as many as Peyroeteo, but he scored more goals than him (or anyone) overall.
edit: Looking at the list in the OP we seem to be baseing this on league games only in which case Bican has 638 goals in 374 games.
With a ratio of 1.71!

RVN has proved himsel at the highest level after leaving the Dutch league the same can hardly be said about Huntelaar.
FFS Kuyt and Afonso ALves were goal scoring machines in that league.

you can hardly say he's been given a chance neither
He's scored 8 goals in 13 starts at r.madrid hardly flopping on your first season is it?
AC Milan he's played seven including some substitute appearances and hasn't scored. ONLY 7 GAMES how can you judge a player and say he's flopped after only 7 games.

Hes' not flopped but he's not proved himself either for his goal scoring record to be taken seriously.
