    2012/13 Pre-season friendlies

Has any team announced anything yet?

I know that the season is not officially over, what with the play-offs about to get going for the two lower nPower leagues, but Brentford have announced theirs already.

Think we had to arrange something due to London teams not being able to have ANY home games during the Olympic dates - and the only way we can have a home friendly is if it got played behind closed doors.

We have two away local trips to Hayes and Hampton & Richmond - something we are accustomed to each Summer though not sure when the last time we played Hayes.... but something we're not used to is a tour of Germany.
With Uwe as manager, I can see him having had the input here and are travelling to the area of Leipzig and are having 3 games whilst out there. I think a lot of fans are hoping we play St. Pauli as we have an ex player of theirs and a few of their fans have been following us this season.

You could argue that these two are nice 'little' earners even with say reduced tickets of average 10 pp and a crowd of 5,000 thats 100,000 for those two games combined... Brentford (and Charlton as the fan above also mentioned) can't have a home friendly. We actually miss out on any 'money spinner' ties. We have to spend money to play friendlys...

Still - Germany is a nice little treat for us fans...

Yeah definitely, lovely cash amounts when they take over half the Bescot.

Don't care either, drab home friendlies yet Wolves, Albion, Villa fans can't seem to understand why we aren't out in our thousands for such a fantastic tie.

Wolves at home again this year. We beat a 'development' squad last pre season 2-0 but this time it will be the first team.

Bristol Rovers away plus the usual trips to Hinckley and Nuneaton.

Think we may be going to Port Vale too.

Probably Newcastle or Sunderland at home,a few non league teams away, including York, which is always good for a piss up.

I believe we're planning on playing most of the local sides, Barnsley and Wednesday at home, Rotherham away. Hope the Rotherham away comes off, though still can't see police allowing it to go ahead. We'll probably end up playing Wrexham too given Saunders' connection.

Don't think we've announced much yet but doubt we'll play Bristol City and Dorchester.

We're in the same boat regarding home friendlies, but we hardly play any at home anyway - usually just one a season.

We haven't announced anything yet, but then again we haven't even announced our retained list yet.

Preciesly! I do not care who we play in pre season friendlys!

These keep our bank roll chugging along, and probably keep our head above water!
I'm in a glass case of emotion.

We haven't announced ours yet. Think we are going to Malta again though.

As for friendlies back here, Rotherham is usually one that happens every season. Wouldn't mind that again now they have their new ground. Think Mansfield and Sheffield FC will be included somewhere too.

I'd love to get a big club at home too.

Yep and I don't think we will have a home friendly because of the Olympic footy at the Ricoh.

Probably Local Non-League teams like Lincoln, Gainsborough, Bottesford Town and Brigg.

Hopefully not Grimsby though, something always happens when we don't play them in competitive games, like their players breaking ours' legs.
