I saw him play in your playoffs, in which he looked i thought very useful, it seems he has improved as the season has developed which is a positive thing for us. Hopefully Smith will bring out a little more in him whilst he is with us..

All these rumours seem to emanate from one source - a South London newspaper report that Charlton missed out on Lawrie because he's going to sign for PUFC. Seen nothing else to substatntiate it so I remain sceptical - certainly wouldn't call it "strong rumours".
