    Npower League Two, 2013/14

    Accrington Stanley
    AFC Wimbledon
    Bristol Rovers
    Burton Albion
    Bury
    Cheltenham Town
    Chesterfield
    Dagenham & Redbridge
    Exeter City
    Fleetwood Town
    Hartlepool United
    Mansfield Town
    Morecambe
    Newport County
    Northampton Town
    Oxford United
    Plymouth Argyle
    Portsmouth
    Rochdale
    Scunthorpe United
    Southend United
    Torquay United
    Wycombe Wanderers
    York City

As disappointing as today has been, looking at that list I'm quietly confident about next season, provided we bring in 2 or 3 players in key areas. Fixtures out in just under a month's time...BRING IT ON!

I fully expect another average campaign. 5th-12th somewhere.

I think we'll get a playoff spot and I also think we're in with a reasonable shout of automatics- provided of course that we do a little bit of strengthening. But I really don't think we're that far off where we need to be. No disrespect to the sides coming down but some very good sides have gone up this season- in fact I'd say the four strongest sides in the division are the ones that went up, which is unusual nowadays because of the playoffs etc. Barring Pompey, I don't think any of the sides coming down are of the same standard, or have the same kind of resources financially. Cheltenham and Burton will struggle to challenge again next season imo as they will both lose important players. And there's no Crawley or Fleetwood coming up from the Conference this season to blow other teams out of the water when it comes to paying fees and wages.

Think the teams that are up there next season will be Pompey, us, Oxford, Chesterfield, Fleetwood, Bristol Rovers, and maybe someone like Plymouth or Southend. Three of those for the automatics.

The only team there that I'm certain will do well is Portsmouth.

For the other teams, it will depend how they do in the transfer market. Wouldn't surprise me to see Bristol Rovers and Chesterfield up there though, and Northampton finishing in the top 7 again. We'll see...
For sins committed in a previous life, I am forced to watch Plymouth Argyle home and away.

I'm confident we won't end up in another relegations crap with Ardley. Lower mid-table for us I guess.

Recruitment is the key. I'm confident Worthington will sign some key players. He's offloaded the dross which is a good start anyway.

Obviously I'm biased and confident. (Who isn't when it comes to your team)
I don't think we'll be scrapping for our lives again and think we'll be fighting for a playoff spot. Saying, that, I'll be happy if we finish mid table.

Looking at the teams, they'll be some cracking fixtures next season.
Always loved playing Hartlepool. Both sets of supporters seem to have a mutral respect for each other (maybe because we always seem to be in the same league for years on end) always a good atmosphere and attendance.
    Scunthorpe also, always good games.
Bury, probably York supporters most hated team/supporters. Can garauntee firework with those two fixtures.
    Roll on August!

I'm confident we'll be in and around the playoffs next season. We're losing a couple of big players, but no-one who can't be replaced.

I don't think there are any stand out teams at the moment.

I think we will struggle, and I fully expect us to battle bravely from the dreaded drop. Once the first couple of games have passed we will no longer be in danger, and will gain a top 3 place, and then get promoted.

I am migrating to L1 now, I don't want to be back.

I don't think next years L2 will be as tough, Gillingham were excellent, PV too, Rovrum were on a new stadium high and we were the best team. With those gone along with some excellent managers I reckon a lot of clubs will be in with a shout. Of the clubs coming down, Scunny are crap, Bury skint, Pool in a mess and Portsmouth will find, just like us, size counts for FA, it is not easy, not at all.

My top 7, I think Plymouth will finally get going, I hope so. Can see Mansfield making an impact too.

    Bristol Rovers
    Northampton Town
    Oxford United
    Chesterfield
    Plymouth Argyle
    Portsmouth
    Rochdale

I think it will be a close league next season with no team really taking it by the scruff of the neck.

I do fancy Southend and Bristol Rovers to be somewhere near though.

My Top 7 not in any order

    Southend
    Bristol Rovers
    Chesterfield
    Pompey
    Plymouth
    Cheltenham
    Northampton

No offence to anyone on here but relegation has finally sunk in for me after seeing that line-up

Doesn't get more depressing when you're left with the fact that probably only York and Pompey will bring more than 150 here.

Add Plymouth to that, they travel well.

    Go on then...

Newport will be Champions, York and Portsmouth going up with them.

Northampton, Southend, Chesterfield and Plymouth in the play offs.

Bury and Dagenham to go down.
