Middlesbrough fans complain of "constant noise"

You couldn't make this shite up.

At Middlesborough away they kept trying to make us sit down. Constantly, they never stopped bothering anyone stood up until they sat down, then they would stand again and it just repeated itself. Hate Middlesborough! ............. Nice place though.

To be fair, it does make little difference.

They are in their oown right to produce that documentation to the fan for constant standing, it is a part of safety.

Didn't realise it ever got exciting at the Riverside, and besides how much noise can 15,000 plastic red seats make anyway?

At least the club would have saved money on stamps sending the letters out. They could send that letter to every matchgoing supporter and still have changed out of a £10.

That letter one of the funniest things I have seen in a while.

What I thought as well, don't see what the big deal is.

Health and safety my arse.

Who the f**k does this woman think she is, telling supporters who have paid over the odds to watch Premiership football, what to do. If I recieved that letter i'd be even more determined to stand and make a racket.

If I received a letter like that, it would promptly be returned to sender with a pile of turd enclosed.

The best bit about that letter is there are countless empty seats for the fans who dont like the noise to move into!

yet another reason why so many of our fans feel disillusioned by the club.

The club is taking the p1ss soooooooo much it isn't difficult to understand why so many people around the area have given up attending and already have us down as relagation certainties.

any attempt to cheer the team on that may lead us to win a match or at least score a goal has basically been crushed. Even if you stand up to go and get a drink you would probably be accused of obstructing another fans view and be thrown out (not saying this is the case-YET).

just when the team needs a push the most, they spew out rubbish like this.....
