Yeah not been on the Rashford hype train for obvious reasons but he was superb tonight.
Genuinely think United's attack looks better with Rashford than it does Ibrahimovic. Ibra puts in some great numbers but every forward they have other than Mata and Lingard (who is shite) look so average playing with him.
Still think United should be playing a fluid front 4 of Martial, Rashford, Mata & Micky when fit.
As a neutral I was not at all entertained by last nights match at Old Trafford. It was on the TV in the club but no one appeared to be interested in it, even when the Belgians scored. In fact they turned over to watch the Lyon v Bestikas game.
Not as exciting or as dramatic as last year. United position in this years competition is similar to Barcelona entering the Freight Rover/ Johnsons Paints trophy
Stopped reading there, Eddie.
liar! You read it all & it was boring
Yesterday, three out of four quarterfinal ties went at least to extra time, with the fourth decided by a one goal margin. Every single tie could have easily gone the other way. What more do you want, neutral?
In the club? And no one's interested in the match? What's that for a club? ?
edit: Had to shudder at Ibra's injury.
Thanks for sharing.
A tricky tie, could go either way.
If united win the cup do 8th place in prem get europa qualification ?
Don't think so - what about if Man C/Chelsea win the FA Cup though?
Do you fancy a European run...
No, only 7 teams can play in Europe. Look at La Liga last season, they had CL and EL winners. 5 go into CL, then the next 2 highest go into the EL.
Ahh I swear I heard someone on our local radio the other day say It but obviously not
The final of the dream: Manchester United v Ajax
Well they are almost there after a 4-1 v Lyon.
I actually fancy Lyon to turn that around back in France.
Can you explain why you prefer Lyon over Ajax?
How can you not love a club that fights the big money with home grown young players. Average age in the 2nd half was just over 20.
I think he just means that Lyon have a chance to turn the 3 goal margin around..not that he hopes they win.
Yeah that is what I meant
I think I'll watch tonight the ManU match. Just seen that it is shown live in German Free TV on Sport1. So you can see how big ManU is in Germany (or maybe it's only because Sport 1 has the rights to show the Europa League and no German team is in it anymore? ) Anyway, I'll watch it. I am predicting a draw
Bricking it tbh think we might be on the wrong end of a twatting here
