    As it stands...

Wouldn't be surprised to see it finish something like this TBH.

Don't fancy Europa League with the shitmunchers so hopefully we'll consolidate our CL place.

Well, maybe for the first time in many years, all of England's Top 6 ,expect from City and Liverpool teams, look extremely weak, even though I believe they will shine again in Europe.

Here are some of their results in August (might offend some people ):

    Wolves 1-1 Manchester United
    Manchester United 1-2 Crystal Palace
    Southampton 1-1 Manchester United

    Chelsea 1-1 Leicester
    Chelsea 2-2 Shieffield United

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle United

Arsenal hasn't suffered any of these blows yet, because of a good transfer window, but they will follow...

Almost all of these games should have been won easily, it is not acceptable for teams like Chelsea and United having 2 or 3 of these blows every month...

Why are we not included in our 8th place position please? Our European tour awaits next season.

city are 25% of the way to premier league safety.

old ranieri had it right. just focus on getting 40 points asap.

mind you for Liverpool that could be after 14 games :)

Based on last season's European qualifiers it only stretched down to 7th, but you're welcome to win the Fair Play league or the FA Cup and get back to me at a later date.

Our impending 10 game winning streak is going to see us pull away in 3rd before Christmas

Actually, in August, Tottenham, Arsenal, United and Arsenal combined have only won 4 games against teams out of Top 6...They've lost twice and got 4 draws...

United has not won an away game since February!

Tottenham has not won an away game since January, but no one is focusing on that, because of their European achievements and they still managed to get a Top 4 place!

We play Spurs away next. Should be beating teams like that if we're serious about the top four.

4th is usually about the 70point mark so obviously not everyone gets near that.

i reckon it'll all settle itself down from 3rd to 7th fairly quickly but any order could emerge as the season goes on.

i think for 4th the best attacks will have best chance but with Chelsea, arsenal spurs, Leicester and Utd all having different strengths and weaknesses the most stable teams might just come to the fore.

spurs definitely have the most potential there.
don't rate Chelsea or arsenal centre of defence.

We're not playing that well at the moment but still winning. All the hallmarks of a title winning side that
