Its not looking good for us, I know we have more points on the board than the chasing pack but our form is horrible, and both wolves, man utd are in decent form.

I can see us finishing 6th, which would mean no CL even if man city get banned. That would be a disaster considering at one point we were second, with top 4 looking locked in.

We're top of the form table over the past 5 games and have 7 clean sheets from our last 8, so we're in decent nick. Defensively we're as good as we've been under Nuno.

I can't see Chelsea dropping away now and would expect them to usurp Leicester over the next couple of weeks. Would be no surprise to see United do the same if they keep their current XI fit.

I suspect we'll just miss out on catching Leicester, but I'd be delighted with 6th in any event.

Be a huge disappointment if we did miss out now. I'd happily miss out if it meant we won the FA cup though.

And you still have to play us at the King Power.

    Nightmare.

Definitely looking a bit grim for Leicester even with a 6 point advantage. Wolves are flying, United have been in great form since January and Chelsea have come back from the break with two good wins

Would love to see United and Wolves take 3rd and 4th but Chelsea are looking likely to take one of those spots now

 Unfortunately it means more money for Sporting if United qualify for the champions league :hiding

I think we have enough depth to see us through.

All of a sudden I think we will bottle top 4. Expect Wolves to take our place.

I imagine things won't be plain sailing for Chelsea as well, they looked class against City but have a habit of throwing away points.

Wolves could easily end up finishing 3rd though, the way they're going.

4 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses since the start of January and you’re only starting to think you might “bottle it”?
*and two of those wins were against Brentford and Birmingham in the cup.

The remaining fixtures don’t look great either:

    Everton A
    Palace H
    Arsenal A
    Bournemouth A
    Sheff U H
    Spurs A
    Man U H

Fully expect us to drop silly points along the way. Will be interesting to see how Wolves, Leicester and Sheffield United perform when they need to win.

It was ridiculous how many dropped points there were last season for the top 4 contenders in the last 6 weeks.

Well Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal made European finals. That probably had a major impact.

Now, everyone is playing every three days. I'm not anticipating any silly point dropping.

Anyone else impressed by Dyche and Burnley again this season ? Just gone quietly about their business, well clear of relegation and putting themselves in the mix for Europe

Ben Mee has to be one of the most underrated centre backs in the premier league. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Heaton, Keane, Tarkowski have all looked so good as part of a back line with him in. Just seen that his child was born 16 weeks early and she’s only 6 weeks old now, yet he’s out there putting in top performances like that tonight, what a great leader to have at a club

He's done amazingly well, there's talk that he might leave in the summer if he's not backed, and I think he should probably leave. He isn't ever really going to get Burnley to achieve more than he is with the money they spend, his stocks very high right now and it could always fall as it's not easy to maintain their success.

Net spend of £5 million this season, it'd probably the same or perhaps even less next season with Covid-19, and they're having to replace Jeff Hendrick who's off on a free. It's a big job to carry on that success with that sort of budget. If he's only going to be given £5 million without selling players like Dwight McNeil or James Tarkowski, who are they realistically going to be able to bring in?

Realistically though where can Dyche go?

Could go Villa if they go down and sack Smith.
Will be well backed to get out the championship and will be at a bigger club with bigger resources.

I suppose West Ham might be similar. But it’s going to be step back to try and step up. Big risk.
