    arsenal, pool, burnley and spurs.

I think we can catch arsenal and burnley possibly, big ask for us to get 4th tho as I dont think all 4 of the 4th to 7th placed teams are going to drop the points needed for us to take them.

2nd and 3rd is wide open too tbh. I'm not convinced United and Chelsea are much better than the rest.

Still half a season to go so I'm not limiting us to only fighting for 4th.

Yeah, still plenty of twists and turns, United and Chelsea are nothing special at all and are catchable.

The title is Citys, theyre going to smash a few records along the way too.

Burnley will drop away eventually...I remember saying exactly this over Leicester  no seriously, I do think they'll drop away around Christmas, they've done fatastically well to keep in touch.

You're getting way ahead of yourself chrys. We might catch 1 of them and finish 7th but let's not carried away. it's still just a new manager bounce at this point. We saw under Shakespeare what happened once that wore off.

I’d be surprised if it wasn’t United and Chelsea.

Secure 4th before looking at us ;)

We'll see mate. The first half of the season is fairly easy to get through.

I've no idea who's in the league cup but lets see how United and Chelsea juggle 3/4 competitions in the second half of the season before suggesting they're miles ahead.

Neither have done particularly well in recent seasons. Conte's already spent half this season moaning about the number of games.

I think the thing with Burnley is their home form is good and they don't concede many. It gives them an outside chance.

It's obvious Riyad is playing for a January move.

Would love to see Burnley get into Europe, i'd actually support an English side in Europe if they did.

To be fair, even if they qualify for Europa, what a success!
It really isn't out of the question, and to do it with the players they have, brilliant. Truly hope they get a European spot, they deserve it.

The players we have?hope everyone continues to underate our squad it has worked so far, we actually have some very talented players, although we may suffer in the next couple of months as we play all the teams above us and three of our regular back four are injured, I think we might just stay up which is another great achievement for Dyche and our club, another 100 million in the kitty wow!

Tbh it's way to early to be thinking about Europe, I think all the teams above us (bar Burnley) and Everton will all strengthen in Jan and we might lose Mahrez.
I'm just happy to see us playing entertaining football.

    This true.

For a "bang average" side (as we are told) :)....Mourinho has worked miracles. Still in all 4 comps (albeit out of the title race) and 2nd only to the greatest PL side ever.

Fair play to Jose I was unsure he was the right fit but he is overperforming really....

I’m not even sure Burnley will drop away as much as some people expect. Even against the big guns they’ve done well this season, so when you see fixtures such as Burnley v Brighton this weekend I’m starting to just immediately chalk them down as a Burnley win

I think you misunderstood me, the players they have wouldn't be in the position they are now if they were at any other club, Dyche has unlocked their skill/potential when other managers couldn't. They deserve their success and it's well earned. I look forward to watching them play more than the Top 6.

didnt say we would catch anyone just catchable gloria

really i think its between those 4 teams but i think its great we have a sniff now.

    think positive

always think the worse of the guy dave¿ :(

he has a new agent and that agent "may" have told him to play his socks off for a move.

but you dont think the formation changes and gray drawing defenders away from had no impact at all? i think it has, hes been managed better now as is the rest of the team.

we would be mad to sell anyone in january

i rathee we talk about him in a leics thread tho if ok.

why not? have some ambition, you got momentum now with form.

I would love to see Burnley in the CL (same with Leicester 2 years ago). Not always the "same suspects". They played in the predecessor of the CL, the European Cup, in 1960/61. About time. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

What difference talking about it in here.
Hope he stays because CP has breathed some fire back up his arse.

I'm not knocking him Chrys i'm just suggesting he wants a move.:shrug

I'm personally pleased with the players in giving CP their all.

    Long may it continue.
