StillHurts is a deceiptful, lying, misleading lanky chode. I, however, am simply a ****, so there is no chance of me ending up like him, so FO.

    Rambo First Blood

    City of God
    Inception
    Alien

Not easy to pick just seven, but something like...

    Shawshank Redemption
    Lucky Number Slevin
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark/Last Crusade
    The Dark Knight/Dark Knight Rises
    Fight Club
    Aliens
    The Prestige

Amazed that a few people are putting LOTR: The Two Towers. Personally thought it was comfortably the weakest of the 3 films but there we go (although the battle for Helms Deep was epic).

Always thought the third was the weakest, with it's never ending series of endings and far too much focus on the battle over Sam and Frodo's Excelllent Adventure.

I get your point but taking the ring to mount doom was the whole point of the story.......they did gay it up a bit too much though :)

It's probably my favourite of the 3 tbh. Too many things hold ROTK back for me and FOTR is an excellent movie that lacked only that one major set-piece battle, otherwise it's a perfect introduction to the trilogy.

Fellowship of the Ring is my favourite by a fair distance tbf. 3 superb films but for me personally the Two Towers dragged a little in the first hour/hour and a half (tbf I did watch the 4 hour long extended edition, but I did the same with FOTR and ROTK also and didn't feel the dragged at all). Everything after that was excellent though.

Im surprised that so many people love the Departed. The original version of the film - Infernal Affairs - is much better and was only made a few years prior
