It is a battle of Britain tie between Aberdeen and Burnley. Should be a good advert for British football. As a Scot, I am supporting Aberdeen. But obviously Burnley are favourites with the bigger budget and finances.
The games will be on the 26th of July, and the second of August.
I hope the games are fun.
Maybe it will be a good advert to have a British Isles Cup.

Aberdeen need a long European run, to make more money.

The thing is though, Aberdeen are utterly hopeless at trying to qualify for Europe, and they won't come across a tougher side to get past. Dyche has Burnley well drilled and they can cause anyone damage on their day, so I only see one outcome here I'm afraid.

Just hope the Aberdeen fans are careful down there. Burnley is a shit hole full of EDL type wankers.

Why do we need an own thread for a 2nd round qualifier of the Europa League? I opened the Europa League 2018/19 thread some time ago.

A "Battle of Britain" tie?

Any match between a Scottish and English team is lazily dubbed 'The Battle of Britain' by the press here. zzzzzzz

Unless it was like TNS v Belfast or something then it wouldn't get any limelight.

I'd be surprised if there are no kick offs, Scottish fans always give it the big one when they come down here and they won't have to look far for trouble in Burnley.

Dunno about that, but tbf Aberdeen fans are well known trouble-makers up here. It could get tasty.

It’s pretty evident that Burnley fans are racist, you booed one of our players for being racially abused.

It must be hard work to be even more of a spastic than your brother, but somehow you’ve managed it

Every team has its element of dickhead fans tbh :shrug.
Don't see why Burnley are much different to most other teams.

Be interesting to see if Spurs have travelled with Aberdeen, wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if there's issues at this one, both clubs have history of causing trouble and the only thing i could see putting the older Burnley lot off is the chance of a more interesting tie on the mainland.

Quite possibly. Aberdeen are often at the Spurs European games. Amsterdam/Ajax too.

Load of yours got nicked with them down at Brighton in a pre-season friendly a few years back didn't they? I'd assume for this kind of game they'd definitely be up for it.

I've no idea about that mate, I imagine a few will go up today though.

Disappointed this isn't on TV. Rangers game is on but doesn't interest me at all.

Looking at the Burnley squad I think they need to sign a few more players.
Along with Spurs they are the only premier league club not to sign anyone, and particularly in some positions they look very light.

Can easily see them struggling next season with a lot of the other midtable sides looking stronger.
