When you’ve been out of work for 72 hours & your dream job comes up.
Never said he was no good.
You made it sound like having him would be a coup. Whenever a job opens up at this level he is linked to it. This is the division he has been in the most. This is also his level.
The other bloke managed in Europe and won a major league title. I thought it was weird to include Jokanovic in the same breath as him.
Gutted about this but maybe more from being robbed of a period of continuity rather than losing Karanka himself. Apparently walked away due to outside influences regarding running the team. Or is this just an excuse? We'll probably never know.
Not verified the stats but we're only 7 points better off than last season?
Some of the players have to hang their heads in shame for their input (Pants at home to Millwall, Dias at Norwich... hope he never puts a Forest shirt on again). Those 4 points right there would see us sat in 5th at the moment and this thread wouldn't exist.
I'm completely f*cked off by it all now, hopefully a decent replacement will give us a lift and maintain the home and away sell outs to get behind the team and the new manager.
I wonder if Andy Murray knows ote about football?
Different owner, same shit.
So much for the more professional approach.
Whatever's gone on behind the scene, yet again the main men can't be arsed to work together to improve the club and take us forward.
We haven't played in the top flight this century, but throw a few quid at it and we're expecting to piss the league
7th in January not good enough? **** off.
Personally, I'm glad he's gone.
Is Zidane not available?
He is but I'm told he's said no to this one as Trojil's a cnut.
Not that old Chest nut.
lololol etc etc
That's actually decent for you mate.
Genius. Can't wait to see what results you get from your GCSE exams in a few years.
They're next year tbf
Best of luck Joshua.
Thank you very much Trojua
Replacing him with Martin O'Neill
Forest dream team of O'Neill and Keane? Could maybe work if it gets the supporters on their side, but replacing Karanka with O'Neill seems like a sideways move. I don't think it is a bad appointment though.
Just don't give him too much money to spend on British/Irish players and you might do ok with him.
I don't think that's too bad of an appointment. Not ground-breaking by any means but decent.
Certainly not an exciting appointment for Forest.
Forest are the gift that keeps on giving.
I’m happy with O’Neill... club legend and has a good managerial record. We could do worse - time will tell whether he’s an outdated dinosaur or not.
You've sacked Karanka and essentially hired a older worser version of him.
He might have a decent record but the last time he achieved anything was about 10 years ago with Villa.
