Big achievement for Wenger mixing it with the big boys in the semi finals

Should every neutral root for Arsenal as the big underdogs?

Spurs are the underdogs due to their lack of silverware. They haven't reached an FA Cup final in 26 years! Arsenal have won 7 FA Cups since then. Chelsea have won 5 I think.

Spurs are under dogs due to previous FA Cups. Is current form and this seasons performances not relevant in judging likely outcome of the games?

For starters you're playing against Chelsea who are 4 points clear at the top of the league and have won 3 FA Cups in the last 10 years. So you're still underdogs for the semi final.

Talking of this season's performances you've got a terrible record at Wembley.

FWIW the bookies have you and Arsenal as outsiders priced around 4/1 and Man City and Chelsea priced around 2/1.

Right now, Spurs are a better team than Chelsea. That 4 point gap counts for nothing. Chelsea look like they getting bogged down by the pressures of the title race. They're coping with it but you can see they're not the team they was in December. Spurs have won 7 straight matches in the league, averaging 3 goals a game in the process, as well as conceding just 4 goals in that time. Chelsea are really struggling to keep clean sheets right now.

This is a monstrous match, when was the last time the 2 best sides in the country battled it out in the FA Cup semi? 1999? It's going to be ****ing fantastic. If they didn't have such an awful record at Wembley this season, I'd have Spurs as the favourites.

As for City and Arsenal, the smart money is on City but with that defence...you just don't know!

Playing the league leaders and it's not a home ground.

We're quite clearly underdogs. The only ground I'd feel confident of beating the three remaining teams would be White Hart Lane.

True. United were the reigning champions though at the time and won the FA Cup that season. United/Arsenal was the leading fixture at that time and peaked that season (RVN last minute penalty miss, United revenge in the semi final).

We're splitting hairs...it's not as unanimous as it is now. Chelsea and Spurs are clearly the two best sides in the league....aghhhhh, it's going to be so ****ing good!

I agree Chelsea/Spurs are clearly the best two this season - assuming Spurs don't collapse again as they aren't that far ahead points wise of 3rd and 4th. That stretch of games of Palace and West Ham away followed by Arsenal and Man United is tough. Then Leicester away and then away at Hull last day who are probably fighting for survival.

Leicester and Spurs seemed to be the best two teams last season but Spurs finished 3rd.

Do you know what would be nice?

Us beating Arsenal by 4 goals, then Sanchez confirms he will be joining us in a post match interview. Imagine the scenes.
