Depends on the club. Lamptey showing strong qualities as a winger compared to a RB

About time we got a bit of luck with VAR, thought it was a stonewall penalty personally.

    Always rated March.

Trezeguet clearly dived and made the most of the minimal contact as well. Only just from the free-kick after Grealish dived to get Lamptey sent off.

Grealish should have been shown the 2nd yellow and sent off for diving rather than Lamptey.

Villa got the lucky biased referee's decisions. Thankfully Brighton weren't done by Villa's cheating.

Justice done. What a horrible team of cheats Villa are. Grealish, Trezguet and Targett will all get to play next week whilst Lamptey is the one suspended? Joke.

The 3 points makes it slightly more palatable of course

Michael Oliver is such a shite referee. Absolute shambles. He was not in control of that last 5 mins at all.

Oh dear must of been watching through your one eye , Lampty committed four fouls in the first 5 mins , Maupay was at his shithousery as usual. Dreadful dive when Jack lost the plot and dragged him up by the shirt. Having said that you played well .I think a draw would of been fair but we did not take our chances . Oh and never a pen .

Trez dived and I think The Lampty sending off was just a coming together, But he was a victim of repetitive fouling .

I won't argue with the Lamptey red card, because as you say he committed a fair few fouls, doesn't change the fact that Grealish was going down before Lamptey was anywhere near him for the one he got sent off for. Two wrongs don't make a right, and previous fouls don't stop that being a blatant dive.

Grealish dived for the red. You won’t find anyone on this board beyond Villa and Palace fans saying different. Great player but a cheat (and useless today). How Traore wasn’t punished for pushing Lamptey in the first half I’ll never know either.

Great game for the neutral. We’ve certainly played better and lost this year, that’s for sure

It wasn't a dive by Grealish but it wasn't a booking either.

You don't fall like that without throwing yourself to the ground. If someone clips your heels you don't jump up and fall over - if someone clips your heels causes you to stagger your run and slip maybe, but not jump up and throw your legs into the air. He deliberately runs in front of his path then just rolls over.

Well he sort of said the penalty could have been but wold have felt hard done by had it gone against him.

Complained more about the 1st goal which came from a throw in taken away from where it should have been.

Never a pen played the ball then Trez lunched himself like superman. I never cheered from the start as i thought it was a dive and Keown talking bollox and i knew it was going to be over turned.Fed up with all the playacting, both sides giulty of that today .But a crackin' game all the same

Yet stiill managed to get the ball away a true genius , why play the ball if you are diving for a free kick .Strange how fans never complain about ho whe gets kicked all over the park .Like he is fair game.

Wingback. He’s not showing anything as a winger.

Getting dog's abuse from Vila fans on a fan site about 30% think it was a pen and are acting like Trump supporters.
