Could have been 5 or 6 second half.

Seeing Adomah's header back, what a sitter! Also the save first half from Hourihane was one of a string of brilliant saves from their keeper. He was Bosnich at Roker Park good.

Even first half, just edged on chances. Weimann was offside, despite what Ram-Man says.

Soft penalty, seems to be 6 of one etc, but a goal was coming.

Sloppy bit of play for their goal with El Ghazi and Taylor, the former terrorised them all day. But 1 effort on goal tells you a story about how well we defended.

The attacking play second half was fantastic and Hourihane, McGinn and Jedinak all should have scored.

Just too good for Bristol City.

    Just watched Quest.

Hourihane penalty... absolutely pathetic. Reffing in this League is ****ing shocking.

Post match fines should be introduced to stop the blatant cheating.... that's for the little spineless cheats and the incompetent officials. **** off.

Well they're supposed to have their review panel for deceiving the ref, strange how they made 2 or 3 cases then ditched it off again it seems....

On a positive note, Diedhiou has finally scored an overhead kick.

Think he must've tried at least 10 of them this season

Of course it comes against us ffs.

Also, if we meet next season, can someone teach City's commentator how to pronounce Tuanzebe please? He was saying Too-ann-zeb, it's Too-ann-zay-bee.

That's not at all what he said is it - watch the interview and don't just tag on to what you've been told.

I watched it , and he seems to think that being at the front by the corner flag is some kind of disadvantage , last year he had issue with villa fans over celebrating. I have no problems with Bristol as a club or their fans but this guy is a grade A knob.

You're misinterpreting what he means. He's saying it's a big advantage you have two home ends behind the goal and praising you for it and saying we should do the same which I agree with.

If I remember right it was Martin O’Neills idea. He wanted the home fans behind both ends. The atmosphere is shit most of the time anyway, so it makes no odds.

Maybe he should be concentrating on why we cut you open so often 2nd half and but for O'Leary becoming Bozzie circa 1994, you'd have had a bigger drumming than last season.

Concentrating on marginal gains at the expense of the critical isn't a recipe for anything but disaster.

Nothing in the game up until the **** in the middle handed you a goal advantage. Not surprised the 11 out there lost their rags after that as it carried on afterwards as well.

9 points against Sheff Utd, West Brom and yourselves in the last couple of weeks. So I’d say it’s a little premature to say we’re starting to throw it away.

These Villa fans, christ alive. Funny to think we'd have won or drawn at worst if VAR was in use.

Like my mate in WSM gobbing off how jealous I must be, jealous of a glory hunting fan who supports a Championship team yeah right :fail:

Apart from us hitting the post, a world class save off Hourihane in the first half, a top save from Houirhane again, him missing a sitter from six yards out, O'Leary making several other saves.

We were simply too good for you second half. We didn't let our disallowed goal for offside, like Andi was, stop us. Soft penalty, but you had 1 attempt at goal, were lucky not to be drummed and you've got fans saying with a straight face "we should have drawn". No wonder when your manager thinks the position of support is impactful.

The difference in the offside goals is that yours was offside, ours wasn't.

You hitting the post was O'Leary's fault anyway, don't get me wrong he had a decent enough game but the host of the City fans podcast said that he believes Villa fans are overstating his performance to make you feel better about yourselves not to praise him and I think there's an element of truth in that.

We'll see how you get on in the playoffs, we all know how Dean Smith sides tend to fare when the pressure is on.
